So responsive! They gave me a 6:00 pm start time but messaged me soon after and moved it to noon. John was friendly and professional and found the trouble right away. You can’t go wrong with Bates. We’ve got three buildings and we’ve been using their install, repair, and maintenance services for almost a year now.

Definitely recommend these guys. Had to call them out on July 4th and they were out within the hour. Resolved my issue and even discovered a warranty on the replaced part making my out of pocket costs less. What a pleasant surprise to end my not so pleasant AC issue in July! Thank you Bates Air & Heat. You definitely exceeded my expectations!

Arrived the evening before and noted a musty smell in the house after being up north. Noticed a puddle of water in the intake and called Bates. Fortunately John our technician was serving a customer nearby. He diagnosed the issue from my description and resolved it within an hour. A great experience and wonderful customer service.

I called on a holiday weekend after coming home to an 86 degree house. Steven answered my call immediately, told me the cost of an after hours visit and told me someone would be there within the hour. Upon hanging up I received a text telling me who my tech would be and he arrived in less than 20 minutes. Steven was extremely professional and had the problem diagnosed quickly, found out the part was still under warranty from the original install, which saved me money. He thoroughly checked over the entire system after fixing the problem, and even inspected the breaker in my panel because of buzzing. I HIGHLY recommend Bates for any A/C issues, I will be calling to set up a maintenance plan soon!

I’m the chick who desperately wanted her AC unit to be relocated to the side of the house (rather than have it ruin the vibe of the pool patio).

Bates Air & Heat was the first company to answer the phone, as I began to call everyone on the list you made for me. My quote was scheduled for the following afternoon. The numbers were reasonable. The technician (who is also the owner) was kind, knowledgeable, and willing to think outside the box with regard to my zany request.

Today was “P-DAY” (meaning peace on the patio). Steven and Shane were on time, and efficient. They both arrived with good attitudes, and it was a pleasure to have them in my home.

The unit, having only been briefly disconnected, is up and running, yet I don’t hear even one decibel of that blasted noise!
