Bloomingdale Air was highly recommended to me. David Peralta, came out to our house. He is very knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. He tells it like it is. Does not try to push you into anything you can’t afford. He works for the customer. Explains the options without being pushy. We highly recommend this company!!!
We really appreciate the honesty that they operate with - if you don’t need it they are not going to pressure you into thinking that you do! They also take time to find the problem and really explain what is going on with the equipment and such. Definitely better than the average “big chain” companies.
This is the third time I've used their services for my old AC system. I called in the morning, was told I'd get a call back from Dave. He called 20 minutes later and we set up a time.
A few hours later, he showed up, replaced the broken part and everything was great. Always professional, always timely and a great company to work with. I will continue to use and recommend this company to everyone I meet.

Called to ask if they conducted air duct cleaning services and the receptionist could not answer the question. She tried to transfer me to someone but they were busy. I asked her a second time, if they actually conducted duct cleaning services, she refused to answer, stating that she cannot answer that question as the receptionist. Why not? Do the staff not understand the business model they work for? ( I suspect they were trying to connect me with a sales representative and they have advised the receptionist she cannot answer any questions for potential sales reasons. ) I'm moving on, this is a red flag for me, and in my experience of conducting sales within my career, this is a huge sales red flag! If a company does not trust their receptionist to answer basic questions related to services provided by company, this usually means they pick and choose their work, based on potential of sale opportunity. If this is not the case, then I definitely am not impressed with the greeting and customer service model. She was kind enough, but absolutely would not confirm what services they conducted, does not give me, as the consumer, a warm and fuzzy.
Needed to troubleshoot why my air handler was running 24/7 even when AC/heat wasn't on. Another company said it was the blower motor control module - using expertise (and having a conscious over NOT trying to sell me an unneeded, overpriced control module for the blower motor), Bloomingdale Air successfully diagnosed the issue as a miswiring of a relay in the unit. Wires were adjusted accordingly and we were good to go!
This company has professionalism in spades, timely repair and great communication. There aren't many companies out there these days that seem to have a heart, but these guys do. We'll be using them for every repair and will recommend to others.
David from BloomingdaleAir quickly identified the issue as bad capacitor, replaced it and had the system back again. He also verified the compressor was fine. His explanations were professional, complete and he’s pleasant to deal with. He also looked at the upstairs unit, replaced the soon-to-fail capacitor on that. Saved me thousands $$$$. When I initially placed the appointment, the technician (David) called me back within 5 minutes. So setting up the appointment was super convenient, and they showed up on time.
I called BloomingdaleAir because a couple of days ago another local company ( rated 5-star on Google) told me my compressor was gone and I had to either buy a new compressor or a new whole unit ( both options in the thousands of $). So glad I got a second opinion.
I will be using Bloomingdale Air from now on! Great service with out the outrageous repair service prices! I highly recommend them 👍ask for super Dave!
