Glacier Heating and Air Conditioning

Fast response, honest, and helpful! I called Glacier during an epic meltdown (I can't handle the heat) -- our AC thermometer was dead and thought our unit had called it quits after checking batteries & circuit breaker. I had left a message after 5 pm (of course these things happen when most places are closed) explaining my situation and how I was ready to just shell out a few grand for a new unit rather than fixing it (heat will make you crazy). My call was returned within 5 minutes....the lady asked if my thermometer was blank and right away told me it was a clogged drain pipe and explained step-by-step how to resolve it myself rather than spending any money when it wasn't necessary (whew!) About 5 more quick and painless minutes later, cold air had never felt that good. I'd say that's pretty excellent customer service....while other places may have taken advantage of the situation, come out hours or days later and charged me a good buck, Glacier gave me immediate relief for free. When we do need to replace our unit, we will call Glacier for sure!

Our home air conditioner failed about 9 pm on Monday, 7/11/2016. St. Augustine had just experienced temperatures in the 90's with the humidity close behind, so we were in for a long, hot night. After a call to Mike at Glacier with a brief explanation of the symptoms we had help on the way, literally arriving in minutes. Experience cetainly counts as he wasted no time in fixing the problem while taking time to explain, in layman's terms, just what had happened. Glacier's response (24/7 at the same rate) and expertise are much appreciated and impossible to match. We highly recommend their service.

Our unit stopped getting cold thinking it was low on Freon and we called them and the Owner Ed came out and replaced the part that was broken, He knew instantly what the problem was. Awesome company and doesn't jerk you around on whats broke and what needs to be replaced. Other companys would try and sell you a $5000 new unit or replace 4 parts because they didnt know what was broke in the first place.
So for that Thank you Glacier Heating and Air and Ed!

My AC had gone out in my house I had just purchased. I called Glacier Heating and Air Conditioning and they were at my house within 15 minutes. They installed a hard start kit since 2 of my components were bad and my house cooled off in a matter of minutes.

My AC was not working and I called Glacier Heating and Air Conditioning and they were able to work me into their Monday schedule. Ed came out and said my whole unit was frozen, so he unfroze it, left and came back to diagnosis the problem. He said it was simply my air filter. He did not charge me for the visit.

I called Glacier Heating and Air Conditioning to do a one time maintenance on my unit since I had construction done in my home. Devon came out and inspected the unit and said it looked brand new and there was nothing for him to clean. Devon called Mike and they did not charge me for the visit.

I would totally recommend Glacier Heating and Air Conditioning!

Service and scheduling was excellent. Price was not. Reasonable $99 for service call
But charged $200.00 for a $17.00 capacitor.
Took tech 1/2 hour. Very professional and polite so I don't fault him. I don't begrudge people making a profit but 1001 % margin is unfair.

I would highly recommend this place! We called on a Friday evening around 6 PM and I left a message! A nice lady Shay called back within 10 minutes of us leaving a message and asked the problem she even tried to help us fix the situation itself if we could! She suggested things to do! I said no I would like a professional out and within 15 to 20 minutes she had the AC guys at our house! Incredible service I cannot boast how great these guys were they were the best! Not only friendly but to the point getting the job done! We had Derrick and Mike and they were knowledgeable and got right to the problem right away! If I could give 6 stars I would! These guys this company are the best go to in an emergency! I would highly recommend!

Big Kudos to Derek, the Sunday on call technician. My sister, Stacy realized that her a/c unit drain must be clogged. Speaking with Derek he gave her some verbal instructions and she managed to clear the blockage. Derek even gave her a follow up call to check that everything was still working. Derek was professional, friendly, and basically awesome. We will recommend Glacier Heating and Air Conditioning to anyone needing this service. Big THANK YOU! Derek!

I called a different local place first and the lady who answered was not very nice to work with. I decided to try calling here and was relieved right away by how nice and helpful the receptionist was. Eric was at our home only a little over an hour after our call and had everything fixed quickly. He was also very nice and explained everything more than once for us! They seemed very honest, upfront, and the prices were also much more reasonable than the first place I called. We were so pleased that we will always be calling Glacier in the future! :-)

Woke up during the hottest weekend of the summer to find our AC unit blowing warm air. It was a sunday, and Glacier Heating and Air were the ONLY company around who even answered the phone, and thank goodness they did! Derek answered the phone and calmed our fears. As fast as he arrived, the problem was diagnosed and fixed! The price was extremely reasonable, there was no crazy up-sell, or extra charge since it was an emergency call on a weekend. We are glad to have found this company and will not hesitate to call them again and will be recommending them to our neighbors. Thanks!!!
