Glacier Heating and Air Conditioning

I recently had a/c problem and called glacier because they have good reviews on both google+ and angie's list. As expected, the owner Ed showed up in 24 hours and we discussed our options. The existing A/C is already almost 20 years old and we decided to replace it instead of fix it. The replacement cost of 3200 is on par with the competitive market. A different crews Mike (also an owner) and his assistant came back two days later and replaced the unit and did everything as we discussed. Good job and great services!

I will always use this company. Friday 6pm needed help asap. My mother on hospice can't be moved and the air breaks. Called a couple of places. They were either rude or no return call. Glacier called back quickly. Shay is a wonderful example of customer service. She was compassionate and help came right away. It was a bad situation turned around. Derek the tech took care of everything. What a decent company. Thanks to these lovely people we were saved.

Derek assisted us and we were extremely satisfied. Our AC concern needed to present for diagnosis and repair suggestions. Derek made himself available to take ownership, was thorough, explained the suggested plan of action in relatable terms, and worked to diligently around an incoming storm. We appreciated his evident experience, time he took to explain this that and the other, and customer centered approach. Previous providers (other companies) were not able to get to diagnose step.

Contacted Glacier on a Saturday for sparks coming from AC unit. Derick came out within the hour, identified the problem and had it quickly fixed! Best service I ever received! Glacier will totally be saved in my contacts! I highly recommend their service!

The people at Glacier Heating and Air are the best! In all my experiences with dealing with service, I have never been disappointed in their quality of work, reliablility and honesty. I have had three dealings with Glacier and they hae all been positive, and helped me keep my older unit running. Whenever I called, I got a return call immediately, and service the same day. One ws even on Labor Day and they came right out and fixed the problem. The service technicians are personable, reliable and honest -that means so much. I appreciate their time and their experience that they show in each job they do. I would recommend this company to anyone who has a heating or cooling problem. Ten stars- not five!!!

My AC up and died in February 2015. I called a number of businesses in St Augustine and got estimates for a new one. Glacier not only had a good price, but they were able to get the unit and install it quickly. A week or two later, something was not right...it was well after dark when I called them, but Ed was here within the hour. He quickly found and fixed the minor problem and things have been great.
Yesterday, the AC was running incessantly. I know it's hot, but this was ridiculous. I called Glacier and told the woman who answered about the problem. She told me someone would be out, but not until the people already on his list had been seen. She seemed very concerned. I understood the delay.
Derick got here around 8, went to check the AC and came in about half hour later with the news that the TXV had to be replaced. This was not an inexpensive procedure, and although we have a 10 year warranty on parts, the labor was no longer covered as the warranty had run out in February.
Derick came today and completed the repair. When I received the statement, I was overjoyed to see No Charge in the Total column next to each charge!
Derick told me that because the warranty had just run out, and this was a major repair which shouldn't be necessary on a new unit, they were not going to charge us.
What a blessing. Glacier AC and Heating is run by a great group of people whom I would highly recommend for all your AC and heating needs.

Glacier AC is bar none the best service provider I've ever worked with. They've always been prompt, friendly, and willing to help. Their attention to detail helped diagnose and prevent additional costly repairs. They tell it like it is and their prices are very reasonable for their work. Highly recommend them for all hvac work.

Glacier installed my new HVAC system to replace a derelict builder install disaster that even the original company would not stand behind. Glacier was fantastic!
Recently, my system suddenly started leaking all over my garage after working great for a year, so I gave Glacier a call. Even though it was slightly after one year, they came out on a Saturday, reinstalled the interior drain, and didn't charge me a cent! They truly do take care of their existing customers and not just full scale installs.

The guys at Glacier were so polite and helpful. My wife was home and they made her totally comfortable with their professional attitude. They also gave a much better quote than the competition and did a better, cleaner job than our previous AC guy. I can't recommend them enough!

I hear a lot of mixed stories about AC companies. My friend used Glacier AC after having had a very bad experience with another company. SO when it came time to replace my entire unit, I decided to listen to what these fellows had to say. They came to give me an estimate, offered me some alternatives, listened patiently to my concerns. They gave me an estimate that I thought was extremely fair. They came on Christmas Eve day (didn't charge me additional for that) , did the entire job, quickly, neatly, and professionally, So far the unit is working exceptionally. I am an asthmatic, and Mike gave me some suggestions of things I could do to improve my air quality. These guys really care about their customers, and not just about making money.Based on their behavior and work, I have grown to trust them. I would recommend them highly. They are BBB accredited, with no complaints. There is one word that sums them up,,,,,and these days it's an important word...integrity. I feel confident that if I run into any trouble with my unit, they will handle it.
