I called earlier today to set up an appointment, to my surprise, they had someone ready to roll immediately. Paul arrived on site at my home and quickly got to work. He was efficient in his time spent at my home and made sure I knew what he was doing along the way. I would definitely recommend Paul as well as Durham and Sons for any of your a/c needs. These guys came out 6 times to "repair" my AC, and failed all 6 times. But that didn't stop them from charging me for the callbacks, even though they originally said they'd guarantee the work. Needless to say, I found a different company who actually fixed it.
Edit: response to owner. It is not correct that i was only charged 3 times. Twice, two visits were combined into one bill. This brings up another concern I had, which was that the billing was not transparent. When you charge someone $1000 for failed service, you should itemize the bills.
Times are tough for everyone, so stop using that as an excuse to take people's money when you didn't actually help them. That's not what anyone would call "fair and honest".
I do appreciate the refund for the second half of the maintenance charge, given that your tech probably caused the issues to begin with.

We have regular annual service with Durham & Sons and have been using them for our 2 older HVAC systems for the past 8 years. We love their technical service (the fact that our systems always work well is a testament to that), but it’s their customer service that sets them apart. Jaki in the office is always on top of our service calls and appointments (and I love that they text me service reminders) and Tommy always goes above and beyond with our service calls and always with a huge smile and a story. There’s never a rush and the job is always done right. Great people, great company.

As a new customer, I was surprised to have same day service. We decided not to fix my 29 year old system as it still cools. We are now waiting for an estimate for a new system replacement before the old one gives up. Tommy was fast and efficient and gave us quite a bit of info on a/c systems.
