Durham & Sons

I have been using this company for over 5 years now. They are always attentive and readily available with a sense of urgency whenever I’ve had emergency refrigeration repairs at our small restaurant. They have also serviced my home with both electrical and AC services. They come thru in a pinch when other companies don’t. Their technicians are always pleasant and professional and more importantly, they show up.
Not much else can be said other than if you need a reliable company that can tackle almost any project whether for your home or business, I definitely would give Durham n Sons a call.

8-12-22 update: I had a whole house ventilating dehumidifier installed. The overall install was good and the unit works well. I had an issue with the fresh air intake pulling in attic air and giving my wife bad allergies and caused us both to have sleeping problems for a while. Upon investigation, the fresh air side was really leaky in the attic. I fixed it all myself and sealed it properly. I took the liberty of placing filters on inside and fresh air sides to keep the ducts clean whilst I did that. It took my particle count from 120 to near zero micrograms per cubic meter when I did that indoors. Now we are doing great. More care should be taken when dealing with people's air quality. Secondly, they damaged some soffit by cutting it up to look into the attic. It took about 6 months, but they finally got the stuff to fix it and it looks good. If I would have known about the shortages, I bet I could have gotten a peice of soffit from my subcontractor that put it in originally. They seem to be nice knowledgeable guys, but maybe need some improvement on dehumidifiers and ventilation. No hard feelings. I'm still glad I had the unit installed. I can sleep now with the fresh air going.

We bought 2 Trane Units at least 10 years ago from Durham and Sons. We are so pleased with the performance of them. RJ Durham took good care of us when purchasing them, sat and discussed our specific needs for our home.

Your service techs are so professional, knowledgeable and polite. They always take extra care when servicing our units.

The office staff are so wonderful to work with, Darla, Jackie and Cathy. They will always try to accommodate their schedule with the customers.
I would always suggest to buy extended warranty and the extra every 6 months check up!

We were referred to Durham & Sons by our Realtor for high quality and fairly priced electrical work on an older (1960's) beach-side home that needed quite a bit of safety related and renovation / upgrade work.

Based on my experience, it is clear that the Durham & Sons team knows what they are doing technically and I believe that they would be exceptional partners for any electrical project - big or small - old or new.

Tommy did a thorough job of leak checking our system and after finding none replaced the Schrader valve cores and recharged the unit. He explained if the problem occurred again we would need to do a component isolation pressure test.

We have been customers of Durham & Sons since they replaced our entire AC system in 2012. Since then we have maintained a preferred customer maintenance agreement to have them check our equipment every 6 months. Jackie called us a few days ago to schedule the service and Clayton just came out today and checked all aspects of our system. He was very professional and polite while working at our residence. Great service!

Recently the Durham & Sons team replaced my old heating and AC system in the house I purchased last year. I was very impressed by their highly professional and ethical work.
