IERNA's Heating & Cooling

These guys are scammers. If you do not know anything about Air Conditioning systems they will take advantage and overcharge you by thousands of dollars if you let them.

I had a technician come out to check our system because the temperature in our house would climb to 78-79 during the day when set to 72. He quoted us a complete new system (14 seer) for a little over $11,000. After some research later we found that this was more than double the price of a normal 14 seer system. We elected to have the Freon refilled and he told us to fill it up would take 8 lbs of Freon, priced at $110 per pound. So roughly $900 to top off the Freon.

We needed to keep the house cool so we had him put in 3 lbs. Came to find out later the max amount of Freon our system can take is 5.5 lbs.

This company Greedy and dishonest. Do not give them your business!

Quality place for emergency service, but I wouldn't suggest the maintenance plan. I was sold that every 6 months I would be contacted for a maintenance visit. After 8 months that call never arrived. I contacted the company to get my maintenance scheduled & and ask why I never received a call. After 3 or 4 excuses I was told that that is my responsibility (Would be nice to sell it this way so I could have scheduled it myself). I was then scheduled for a date that was a month and a half away. I suggested that wasn't acceptable. They went with nothing they can do!

I have ended this relationship! Good luck if you choose to move forward. They have more clients then they can currently service.

We recently replaced two units in our home. We got four quotes for the job, and Ierna came in thousands below the next higher bid.

They installed two units, totaling 7 tons in two days. We never went even 1 minute without AC in our home.

On top of the instalation, they reconfigured our duct work, and insulated our entire house.

Every single individual that worked on the propject was a top notch professional.

Today I had Carlos come by to do a tune-up, and I have been very pleased with his professional attitude and willingness to help me with all of my A/C concerns. I am a very pleased customer, and I highly recommend Ierna's for all of your heating, cooling and plumbing needs. Hello. Here is a new review. I had my regular A/C check up on June 28, 2022 and Carlos again came out to do a fantastic job. The unit is running so efficiently due to his expertise. I highly recommend having Carlos come out to service your A/C for the summer season!

They will squeeze as much money as possible out of their customers. Be ready to pay 90$ anytime a person steps foot on your premise. I’ll never use this greedy unhelpful company again

After dealing with another Tampa HVAC company and having a HORRIBLE experience, I almost couldn't believe how wonderful it was to work with Ierna's!!! They were easy to make an appointment with, professional, responsive, on time, knowledgeable, and fixed our problem quickly (the result of the previous company's mistake). This is THE ONLY company I would use in the Tampa area from now on!!

Dave Dominguez has been servicing our AC since it was installed a little over 3 yrs now. We have the yearly plan for 2 services a year. He is always prompt, answers any and all questions we have and helped us with solving our cooling issue last year when we realized we needed to update the duct work to match the new AC. He always leaves the space he works in as clean as, or better than he was working in. He also lets us know about any updates to plans they have as well. This is one service we always look forward to! I am happy about my choice to use Ierna's and I am extremely pleased with the results. Don explained my options and was able to work out a deal that included a few discounts and 0% financing. Josh and Kenny did a really excellent job on the installation. All three were professional, courteous, knowledgable, and went above and beyond to get the job done in a day. I highly recommend Ierna's for your heating and cooling needs.

We had a terrible experience with Ierna’s. One of our units went out a month after we purchased our home and called them to look at it. He said it couldn’t be fixed and we needed a new unit. The unit wasn’t that old so my husband did some researching and found the piece that was broken was still under warranty and would be free to fix! A handy man charged us $50 to install the piece and saved us $8k for a new unit that Iernas quoted us. They get paid commissions so the more you spend, the more they make.

We've worked with Ierna's at 3 different houses we have owned and we will continue to call them when we have any service issues. We signed up for their maintenance plan, which has saved us a ton of money over the years. Their techs are very polite, knowledgeable and make sure you're satisfied with the work before they leave.
