I called this company out to check my 75 year old mother’s hvac system. After speaking with the owner, Chris, Zack was sent to her home and proceeded to check her upstairs unit and reported what he described as slimy black mold on her coils and even showed her a picture of it. He then spoke to her about a UV light and purification system that would cost her roughly $1,000. Upon hearing this about the mold, prior to having the coils cleaned or anything installed, we first decided to hire a mold specialist, who is well established and well known in the Bay Area. This endeavor cost us $695. The mold specialist checked her entire home, as well as that particular air unit and surprisingly found the coils to be clean and free of any mold! He even snapped a picture and handed it down to me to see. My mother states this was not the picture Zack showed her. Interesting. I had tried to reach the owner Chris earlier that day, and left a message asking him to send me the picture Zack had taken of her hvac system so I could pass it along and show the mold specialist. Both times I called, he declined my call and I never did get a response. Watch this company. This could be considered exploitation of the elderly.

In May of 2010, our dinosaur of an a/c unit finally went the way of its prehistoric brothers. Being that that the very unforgiving Florida summer was about to make her entrance, we decided we had to replace the a/c QUICKLY.
A very discerning and, well, cynical colleague of mine recently needed to replace the a/c in her home. Keeping in mind that she's a very cynical person, she whipped out Chris' business card and said, "They are the best!" I called Complete Heating and Cooling and scheduled an appointment with Chris 2 days later. Apppoximately1 week later, his very expeditious crew arrived, changed out the condenser and air-handle; installed new ductwork and an additional return....ALL IN ONE DAY!!! The unit has worked great ever since.
Zac, the tech who does the service work and the twice yearly maintenance check-ups is a very pleasant young man, who is knowledgeable in his field and explains things that a layman can understand without consulting the Airconditioningese to English dictionary.
Keep Chris and his crew in mind if your A/C begins to throw a fit!!

If you are looking for piece of mind before it is too hot or too cold make sure to maintain your AC system regularly. Overall it will cost you much less. I used this company and I am happy I did.

We own a restaurant in Largo and had issued with one of our units not blowing cold air in the rear of the restaurant. We called Chris in the afternoon and he sent Zach out the next morning.. he worked hard to narrow it down, another tech named Mike came a little later and they both were up on the roof and spent a lot of time finding the problem...there were some leaks in crimped lines and they fixed that and for a very reasonable price...
