So messed up and unprofessional, the technician came for one thing and messed up another. And no one knows anything when u called, they are very rude and don’t care or follow up with the issues.
Stay away from these people. They do not know what they are doing. Unprofessional. Rude. Thieves. They will tell you parts are broken that are perfect. No customer service. All they do is change part after part, to see if by chance they get it right. If i could give 0 stars, I would. Be smart, go to the next company. You'll be glad you did.
I had a wonderful experience with South Cooling. They contacted me almost immediately after I submitted my request for repair and they had someone out at my home just as fast. The technicians arrived prior to the scheduled time, and they diagnosed and communicated the issue to me in a clear and professional manner. Overall, I am satisfied with the service provided.
South Cooling services are professional and dependable. Their customer service is outstanding. They email & text updates regarding scheduling and arrival of technician. They saved the day after I sent another company packing. The technicians not only did a great job, they were polite, respectful and never complained while it began to rain. Thank you.
The A/C tech came to look at my unit very quickly, checked the thermometer and told me right away everything was fine. I asked why there was a red light flashing in my unit and how to fix (even if I had to pay extra) and he said that that was normal, when I know very well it's not. I asked a couple of times and he just repeated it was normal and there was nothing he could do about it. Then he spent about 15 in his car and brought me a form. That was all he did.
This company was assigned to me by my home warranty company (american home shield) when I opened a service request for my A/C. Every interaction I had with them (which was at least 3-4 times) was SUPER pleasant. I spoke to a few different women who work there and they were all super friendly and helpful. I can't say too much about their service to my A/C because the issue was resolved prior to their visit, but the tech arrived to my house promptly in the time window previously provided, and let us know like 20-30 mins before he arrived that he was on the way; he found no issue with my A/C so he just drained the pipe. I'll definitely request them as my contractor next time I have a service request for my A/C!
If I had the time to go out of my way and tell people to avoid this company I would. The A/C unit for a home I was renting broke in May and wasn’t fixed by this company until October. Between South Cooling and the rental property managers at Invitation Homes, everyone kept pointing fingers instead of fixing the problem, which was a broken AC for the entire summer of 2021. The workers they sent said they seen rodent droppings in the attic and would not work on the home because of that. The rental company eventually sent someone to remove all of the old insulation and install new insulation. When they finally arrived to fix the A/C in October they cut a hole in the ceiling (which caused all of the new insulation that was just installed to fall to the ground) taped one of my garbage bags to the ceiling and left it for me to figure out. If zero stars was an option to give out I would.
The South Cooling LLC support team member a were a great pleasure to deal with. They were always available to answer any questions I had during the process. The only issue I had is that I wish they had more availability in their schedule for a faster repair. I guess this is a very busy time of year for AC repair folks during this crazy summer months.
I have a difficult problem with my air handler and South Cooling was called in to work on the repair. The techs who came in were extremely thorough and checked all aspects of the system. Unfortunately, the system did not fail while present, but further evidence is needed for them to effect a repair. I have high confidence in their expertise and highly recommend this company for AC repairs.
