We have used A+ multiple times for AC repairs and have never had any issues. When it was time to finally bite the bullet and get a new AC installed we knew just who to turn to. They were available in a timely manner and came out right away when we goofed up the preset settings on the thermostat! Friendly staff and good quality work-you won’t go wrong with A+.

Had an issue with my AC unit. Shelton came to my house within an hour on a Saturday, and spent over an hour testing multiple potential causes. He even tried swapping out a part and didn’t charge me when it fix the system. He was very knowledgeable, pleasant, and patient as he walked me clearly through all the options (including pros and cons) for next steps. Since I am part of their membership program, this diagnostic visit didn’t cost me a thing. Would highly recommend.

I had a last minute AC problem and Shelton was able to come out on a Sunday exactly when he estimated he would arrive. He was very professional and very thorough in explaining to me the issues about my unit. I was very happy with the service from him and the company! Hopefully nothing happens anytime soon, but I will definitely be contacting them again for any AC problems I may have!

A Plus Air Conditioning is an outstanding locally owned company that we have been using for repair, maintenance, and installation of our 2 Carrier Units since 2006. This company believes in quality workmanship and excellent customer service and it shows! The past 6 years or so Rick has been servicing our units twice a year and makes sure everything is top notch. When our AC unit had a problem he was out the same day to fix it. I know that by partaking in their annual service contract we will keep our high end units in great shape and if there is a problem it will be corrected the same day. We highly recommend them!

A+ Air conditioning always does a great job with my heating and air conditioning needs. Rick is an outstanding technician. He makes sure that everything is in tip top working order. He always asks if there is anything else we need, and makes sure that everything is clean when he leaves. Excellent employee and an excellent company. I recommend A+ to all my neighbors. Bart came on Saturday and quickly and efficiently cleaned my AC unit to get ready for the Florida summer. He was awesome! And he even said hi to the dogs. :-) I'm a huge fan of A+ and their annual maintenance contract. It's so much easier not to have to remember to keep up with cleaning. Highly recommend!

Bert and Chris installed a vent and return to a room were encoding. On time and ID themselves before proceeding. Work was so quiet I almost thought they had left for some reason. Work was fully explained to me and what needed to be done as the enclosure project moved on. And there were no hidden costs. The price was exactly what was quoted. Good team. Good management. Highly recommend you consider A+.

Josh was very friendly but not intrusive. He was very tolerant as I was babysitting at the time and toys were strewn all about. After he finished servicing our unit, he gave great advice on how to know when it’s time to replace our unit vs. getting something repaired. He is very knowledgeable and allowed me to ask questions and spent time answering them for me.

Absolute best AC company in the Gainesville area. I am tired of getting raked over the coals by plumbers, HVAC, and Electricians. This company is reasonable, friendly and honest. I have honestly never been so impressed by a mechanical company. Service is on point, pricing is more than fair! I had the whole unit go out and they gave me the option to replace or circumvent the issue. I was then able to make an educated decision. I never once felt like a burden following Shelton around the house.
