I hired Harp services to repair my HVAC system prior to a horrible sub-zero cold snap recently. Not only was a technician at my home within two hours, but upon reconciling the damage as being a bad blower motor, the technician personally drove to pick up a new one. Unfortunately there was a problem with it overloading the system, but with no problem that same technician came back the next day and stayed at least an hour to ensure it was properly fixed. He then thoroughly explained the situation to me as well as discussed any of my concerns. If you can request a technician from Harp, then I cannot recommend Dorian Eady highly enough--he is professional, personable, and truly an expert in his field. At a time when we needed him the most, he really stepped up and took care of me and my family. For that I will never be able to thank him and/or Harp enough!

I booked spring HVAC tune up online, received email confirmation, and just got a call saying they cannot come tomorrow (less than 24 hours before!) due to “scheduling error” and couldn’t rebook until August! Unapologetic and unacceptable. Have already booked with another company. Stop sending all the mail ads and emails if you cannot follow through on commitment.

Harp's Service Technician, Lenny, arrived within the allotted time slot, wore protective covering on his shoes and was very conscientious and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem quickly and repaired it. He was very polite and we would request him again for any heating system problems.

I had a great experience with the service technician that came to perform some maintenance on our heating system. Steve Ungar was absolutely great. He invited he to watch him perform the maintenance. He explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it. He explained it in a way that I could attempt to do it myself if I wanted. He was genuinely a really cool guy, we talked the entire time he was here. We talked about the vhs collection we still own and will never get ride of lol. We talked about life, business and future goals. The dude was absolutely solid!! I would totally recommend Steve!!

Logicvs. Everything

This company came out to meet with my fiance for a free estimate after a leak. 550 dollars later they fixed nothing, lied on the invoice after cutting the ceiling without permission first, and checked the likely culprits after. They told me to get a new washing machine. They didn't need to cut my ceiling open which I still need to fix after this. This would be insurance fraud should I have filed the claim yet.

Damaging my ceiling is not a listed service, they did not render me services offered.

They billed for cutting in a hard access area they stated as a completely different floor than the middle of the ceiling which they cut, which would be insurance fraud when they inspected to cover the repair this company told my fiance to file for... For the hole they cut before they looked at the washer where the leak visibly started. No one would agree to pay 500 for nothing, let alone 550 for damaging my home, while I still have to pay to fix the damage? They owe me my ceiling repaired!

They did not need a 1' x 2' hole to check a pipe that was fine when I have a repair man for any other damage and needed a plumber. I could have tried the water again and said it was the washer, and I would have happily paid for their time if they rendered any repair or service, or any relevant expertise as I know this industry and value their help, which is why I hired someone. Charging 550 would make sense maybe for full repair of the cutting in the popcorn ceiling and replacing a hose or anything else, but they told my fiance all of our appliances are old, I cut open your ceiling, here's a bill you have to pay now before we 2 larger men leave your home. The leak came from the back hookups to the washing machine turns out, and they said to get a whole new appliance and new dryer while we are at it... Why?

Let me know where anyone feels that makes sense, because all of the 'reasons' they gave my fiance fell flat upon telling me how it went, but they had already left and now we are having to wait as we travel up the corporate ladder losing even more time and energy on each phone call as we try to fix this billing error.

Update: the hole doesn't even access the pipe, they were just able to see it. Would anyone call this professional? I'm in no better position than before they came, in fact, it's worse than I thought.

We had our furnace installed in February 2022. One week later no heat. Called numerous people at HARP and finally was able to get the repair (on a brand new system) fixed 2 days later. Called in October 22 to get a service date (that we paid for already) for annual service and was give today. They called my husband and cancelled the appointment without speaking to us. I called today and was told they are overwhelmed with people calling with no heat and can't come to us until April 2023!!! The season will be over then along with our annual service that we already paid for! Will never go with an corporate company again! Only local HVAC small business only!
