Update to my critical review of a few days ago (below): I received a call from HARP and they rectified the situation quickly. Apparently, a system error; but that doesn't matter - what matters is their quick response and addressing the problem. Back to 5 stars.

Previous review:
I have been a HARP customer for 12 years and within the past 3 years have bought a full HVAC system from them. Up until 2022, service has been stellar. Now it's terrible. Service calls are cancelled, no call backs, and service performed last year was sub par, requiring multiple visits to fix their mistake. I am switching to a different vendor.

Made an appointment in February to have my air conditioner checked for the up coming summer. Finally got an appointment on April 13th! Well they didn’t show up and said they called and left a message that they had to cancel the day before? I called and talked with a rude lady that said they did call! I told her no one called or left a message there for I waited all day on the 13th for nothing. She said I’d have to re schedule and said the only opening they had was mid July! I asked for a supervisor and she said she would e mail her to get with me. Never got a call even after I called back and was hung up on by two other people. Will never use this company and will tell all others I know not to use them. Very Unprofessional!!

I had a problem with my water heater and requested a quote to fix the problem. Based on what I read online the fix should have not have been too expensive. The tech from Harp aka Solvit didn't do anything to analyze the problem and gave some outrageous off the cuff estimate of what it would take to fix.I was born at night but it wasn't last night so I knew he was going for replacement. It was a older water heater so I figured maybe better to replace it and asked what that would cost. He gave me a quote I knew was way overpriced. I said that was too expensive so he said they had a coupon for a few hundred off. Still way overpriced. I told him I would be looking to get other quotes. Received a quote from another plumber to replace that was inline with my expectations and significantly lower so I gave him the work and job was completed next day. So if you decide to give Harp a shot buyer beware.

Harp has replaced our central AC and repaired our furnace. They are extremely responsive and communicate very clearly. Also they have a fully integrated scheduling system which makes it easy for the customer.

Had toilet leaking issue, called Harp, they were responsive and sent the plumber to my house the same day. After inspecting the situation, they said they need to order some parts and do a toilet rebuild for almost $500 (I thought it was high but still agreed to it). Then I didn't hear from them for over 3 weeks, finally received a call said parts are in and they wanted to schedule the repair. On the day for the scheduled repair, the plumber showed up not knowing what this job is all about since the company didn't share information with him. I had to explain the whole history and basically was told they will need to come back another time, someone will be in touch with me. I've used Harp for other services previously, it was a very different experience. Totally disappointed with this encounter. Harp really needs to do a better job communicating with their employees when sending them out for jobs and waiting for over 3 weeks for a toilet repair and ended up with nothing just doesn't seem to be a normal experience anyone would expect. Very very disappointed.

Excellent experience with HARP. Called for emergency restart on furnace. Unable to do emergency request but we're honest and set up appointment for next day. Email and office call for approximate arrival time professional and VERY helpful! Will definitely recommend and use HARP Home Services again!

We reached out to Harp for a boiler and thermostat installation on a 5 zone heating system. The process has been less than stellar to say the least. First, the boiler unit that they brought was dropped and damaged. This meant waiting until another unit was brought over. The new unit arrived a few hours later. Once the boiler was installed, the technicians left without turning the pilot light on to our hot water heater and without the thermostats that we paid handsomely for being installed or even PRESENT. We were without hot water, and had no idea what the culprit was. The next day, another tech came out to investigate the hot water issue. He informed us that Harp doesn't have the thermostats. So, they basically sold us a product that they do not have. Here we are slightly over a week later with NO thermostats installed. We have had several techs in and out of our home to attempt to complete the job, each leaving with different reasons why they can't finish the job. I should add that they also sent a technician to our house without giving us notice that he was showing up. At this point, the situation reeks of incompetence, and we are dubious that the work that has been done was done well. When one is spending $22k+ on a service and installation one rightfully expects the company to have what they are supposed to have when they come out to your home for the installation. This situation is unacceptable! As I write this, the thermostats that they sent to our home via UBER (Yes, you read that correctly, someone at Harp felt that sending thermostats via UBER to their client's home while the techs wait in the truck for an hour to do a job that began a week ago was a swell idea.) are STILL sitting in a box in our basement. Each time that a group of technicians was dispatched to our home, they were sent without the basic tools needed to get the job done. I initially came to Google reviews hoping our situation was anomalous. I was wrong. Clearly, there is a pattern here. This is extremely disappointing. Needless to say, if we need work of a similar nature done, we will look elsewhere.

Juan, Norris, and Walter did a wonderful job all around, there were some hick ups and they had to come by for a second day but all three were communicating the problems with my wife and I the entire time. The price harp quoted was the price we paid. And more importantly the hvac system that hasn’t worked in 30 years is up to date and up and running

Harp has some great technicians, but the management needs work. They allow you to schedule next or same day appointments with a 4 hour window. But management Calls beck to cancel and reschedule for a week out.

Harp technicians are generally very knowledgeable and polite. Can’t really say the same for the scheduling system and team. The online app doesn’t link to service history, schedules appointments at times that aren’t available, and cannot be depended upon.
