boiler stopped working mid winter. had guy show up and tell me it had to be replaced. quoted me for $16,000 replacement. tried to rush me into signing off on it by saying work was slow and he'd give me a "discount" to get his guys working. Had several other service companies come out who burst out laughing at the 16k quote. 3 other companies quoted me around $7k to replace my boiler. HARP literally tried to charge me double what it costs. Scumbag company & salespeople. GO LOCAL THESE SCUMBAGS WILL TRY TO STEAL FROM YOU

Please do not use this company. They are thieves. I called Harp because I was not getting heat on the main level. They send a tech and he said that it was the expansion tank on the boiler. The repair was $1000. After I agreed and the tech started the work the furnace would not turn on. But it was running perfectly. Tech sat on the floor and said I have a hole in the combustion chamber that would be another 1000 to fix. Mind you, I pay $90 for diagnostics. Have he would’ve told me about the hole in the beginning, I would’ve never agreed to replace the expansion tank. Now I am out of $1000, no heat or hot water in this freezing cold and need a new boiler anyways! Why couldn’t he tell me this in the beginning??Please do not use them. Always get estimates beforehand!!

Dorian was excellent completely knowledgeable of what he was doing very polite and patient. this was the only company who responded right when I called when my heat stopped working. He fixed the problem which was quite a bit and he explained everything to us as he worked. He gave us peace of mind and our heat back Thank you

Having a furnace problem is always something everyone dreads. But I can't express enough how happy I was with Zach Elflein's service. He was truly professional, knowledgeable, efficient and polite. If I could have a dedicated rep from Harp, I would always request him. The company overall is tremendous and certainly goes the extra mile to keep their business.

Technicians and customer service are all very pleasant. The interactions are all good, but two years later, they still havent fixed the A/C. They have now been to our house over 15 times in the past year to try to fix the same problem. At some point, I would think they would work with Lennox to come up with a solution that works long term.

Had a sensor on our Furnace which broke, $10 - $20 part! Made an appointment. Technician was to arrive between 8am and 12pm. 12;30 came and went, no technician, no call??? Called office, was put on hold for 10 minutes?? Hung up and called back again, put on hold again for another 10 minutes??? Hung up and called back AGAIN?? We were told that the technician was not responding to dispatch??? We were then told that the technician was finishing up on another job almost an hour away! He ended up coming 15 minutes after the third call???????? He assessed the problem and he confirmed to us that it was the sensor. Price for labor and part was approximately $430 and another $100 approx. for him to come out, LATE, and assess the problem??? $530 approx..... CRIMINAL!

This seems to be the norm nowadays with these contractors and service companies! People are told they need to pull back and not pay these astronomical prices! How can you pull back when it is a matter of staying warm?? These companies need to be monitored much more closely!

Technician was very professional and job was completed.

Our main complaint is the time here or lack of attention to arrival or at least follow up! Other main concern was the overpricing!

Will not be using Harp again!

HARP used to be the GO TO company whenever someone was seeking service technician. Kevin Moriarty - HARP Mechanical and Home Services, LLC Windsor Locks, Connecticut is listed as the President/Owner. They list the following as their expertise - Heating - Cooling / Air Conditioning
Plumbing - Water Heater & Sump Pumps. I used to always recommend Harp but not anymore. They are losing their customer confidence. This company has a tendency of booking times of arrival to be within a 4 hour window and can actually cancel on you any time during their supposive arrival time. Also I have heard they have canceled on customers more than 2 times during their supposive window of arrival. This is so rude. We as customers schedule our times to be open for their 4 hour window and when they cancel constantly this is quite annoying. Maybe the customer should charge them back the time which ruins the entire day. HARP is only interested in up-selling and recommending replacing new units and not paying any attention to the actual maintenance.
