Excellent high quality work and results working with me to insure complete satisfaction with the work and equipment placement. They took care of coordinating with electrical contractors and handled all permitting requirements. They even called to remind me to insure that all inspections were completed in the required time. Highly recommend this company for ductless air/heat installation. They are creative in their approach and installed everything in 3 days to my complete satisfaction. Informative and friendly staff throughout the project. Homestead even worked with other suppliers when their normal supplier was out of stock on certain equipment to obtain the same or better equipment within the budget that we discussed. A++ rating from me.

On June 28, 2021 Homestead installed a new American Standard heating and central Air conditioning system for us. James and David were the technicians that did the install. They were on time, very professional, very confident and efficient. Completed the total install in just one day. They left the work area very clean, it was like they were never here and the new heat/air unit system just materialized. We have used Homestead for many years for all our plumbing, heating, air conditioning and generator needs and have always been very satisfied customers. Garry & Marie.

I recently decided to have a home energy audit done as I was in the process of having my siding and windows replaced. Homestead sent out 2 of their employees for the audit. Both techs were very knowledgeable and professional. Once the audit was done, I set up a date for them to come out and complete an insulation installation as recommended by the audit.

Working with Homestead was one of the best experiences I had with a contractor. Before the work began, I had a question so I had called the office. I spoke to Jeff and said he would stop by and take a look. Come to find out, Jeff is the President of the company and came on site to take a look and answer my questions.

When it came time to have my whole house insulated (blown in insulation in the walls, blown in insulation in the attic, bat insulation in the basement) the techs showed up as scheduled. Very neat, professional and a pleasure to have at my home. Each time they came inside they wore boot covers, they answered any and all questions we had, even made a couple small recommendations on a couple items that needed to be addressed.

When it came down to billing, they could not have made it any easier. We were eligible to receive rebates through Eversource. Homestead took care of all the paper work and rebates. We only had to pay the net price after rebates. Another company we called required we pay the whole bill up front then figure out the rebate paperwork on our own.

I would highly recommend Homestead for any services they provide. They run a top notch operation with amazing customer service and a president who goes above and beyond.

When we call Homestead Comford for any reason they are there for us and get the job done and done right. The company is honest and when they leave our home is cleaner than when they got there.

Jaime and Steven were nice easy going guys who worked fast and efficiently. They did a great job and even had enough time to remove my old oil tank. I'm very happy we went with Homestead. The salesman, Jesse, was great to work with. Always very responsive.

We signed up for a home energy audit. Homestead Energy Solutions responded to our request promptly. They sent Spencer and Garret out to perform the service. Spencer explained how they would perform the audit, very professionally. Both Spencer and Garret did an extremely good job. They started out performing an air leak test, then installed weather stripping and sealing cracks. After they finished sealing air leaks, they performed another air leak test, that dramatically reduced the home’s heat loss . The home energy audit was extremely beneficial to me. I was very pleased how Spencer and Garret treated us and the quality of their workmanship!

Our 60 year old house doesn’t have ducts or vents, and after a few years of suffering through hot summers, we had enough. We called for 4 quotes, and only received 2. Homestead has a reputation for being pricey, but of the 4 quotes (actual quotes and verbal estimates), Homestead did actually come out the cheapest.

I was impressed that Jesse was trying to sell us the right solution. At first we were pushing for central air with ducts installed, but he explained the differences in efficiency and price and recommended a 2 head ductless system. We signed later that day and 10 days later, we had a working system. Within 20 minutes our 85 degree living room was 77. I wish we made this investment sooner.

Installation: it was a one day job. Most of the day there were 2 installers here, with an electrician that came later. Everyone was professional and courteous, and they cleaned everything up after themselves.

While Homestead didn’t spend the most time here (but certainly didn’t spend the least, either) there was no pressure to go one way or the other, he looked everything over, answered every question we had, and found solutions to make it work.

The only minor complaint I had was that no one reached out for an install date, when I called to ask it turns out it was scheduled for later that week. Not a huge deal since we work from home, so it was a minor oversight that was a non-issue.

Will performed an exceptional job with the AC units. Professional, extremely knowledgeable, and strong work ethic. I learned a lot about how to maintain my 2 units for optimal use. Please send Will over for next years service. Thank you Homestead!

Too many times people only take the time to post negative things about companies and few post positive. I am installing a solar panels on my home and a requirement was to have an energy audit. Homestead Comfort performed that audit for us. At first I was very skeptical about someone coming coming into our home going through each
room, but the technicians Spencer and Mike made the process very stress free and easy. They were the most respectful and professional men I have dealt with in a long time. The explained every detail of the process. and treated our home as if it were theirs. They asked our permission before they touched anything , respected all of our wishes and performed their jobs flawlessly. The whole company treats their customers with respect and courteously. I can't recommend Homestead enough for any of your heating or plumbing needs or Energy audits.
