Homestead Comfort

I had a three head ductless Mitsubishi A/C system installed last month. I am pleased with the units so far. However, upon close inspection after they were done, there was little to no insulation installed in the 3-4 inch holes drilled through the outside and interior walls. Their field supervisor came and inspected the lack of insulation this week. He was, "really perturbed" with the work and went to Home Depot to buy silicone and spray foam insulation to fill all of the holes. The town inspector (who came the same day as the field supervisor) was not pleased either and commented, "you buy a high efficiency heat pump and will end up paying more for heat because they didn't insulate". The installers also did not bolt down the compressor which the field supervisor said was not code compliant for the town. He bolted it down.

The have all been very nice throughout the process and hopefully will remain so as we proceed with the maintenance and service in the future.

Follow up, 11/11/22:

I had my first Buderus boiler service with Homestead recently. The service tech was very thorough and did a very good job.

Todd and Jose were on time, professional and detailed on removing my old boiler and installing new combo unit. The job was done professionally and they cleaned the area very nicely.

The two employees completing the installation couldn’t have been more professional, courteous, friendly. Answered every question I asked, with enthusiasm. Tim the salesman made every effort to accommodate my requests. I can’t advise on price, but I have always been more concerned with results. Everything went perfectly. I knew they were going to be good when they unloaded the vacuum cleaner, as one of the first items unloaded. I am extremely satisfied with results. I would highly recommend.

This job was first rate. The estimator visited twice to make sure if all the details. When I expanded the scope part way through, he and the installer made the significant additional scope happen the same day. The installer was on time, knowledgeable, efficient, and careful of his surroundings. Top flight professional job.

Since moving into our home 2 years again we have had our furnace maintenances 2 times and this last time the gentlemen was very knowledgeable and explained everything to us, we there on time and was very friendly!

We contacted Homestead once it was confirmed that we needed to repair/replace our water heater due to gas leakage. Once we explained our situation they were very responsive and gave us a quote and scheduled an appointment for us right away. On the day of the appointment, their personnel arrived on time, they were also professional and explained to us all they were doing. They also cleaned up after they completed the work. Plus, the company gave us 10% off the bill through a flyer they mailed to our home. I highly recommend Homestead services to any homeowner! Homestead Comfort was fantastic from the very first email exchange to inspecting our home as we figured out what we needed, to installing the Ductless Mini Splits. Every person involved in the process was kind, professional and did an incredible job! We would recommend them to everyone!
