The technicians, Nathan and Seth were absolutely the best! They replaced my 25 year old AC system with a new one. They we’re friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I had other cheaper estimates for doing this work, but I chose Poudre Valley Air because they’ve been here for a long time and I wanted it done right. So glad I chose them. They rock!
The 330% markup on parts was what finally put me over the top. Insult injury the part they supplied was the wrong part and they wouldn't take it back and refund my money. The field guys are pretty nice but not very skilled with analog systems. The management is rude arrogant and condescending. I'd rather get a root canal than use these guys again. Probably be cheaper too.
My furnace stopped working on Thursday of this week. A technician came over and it seemed like the problem was fixed but that night the furnace stopped working again. I called Poudre Valley Air and the technician, Steve, came out twice. He ended up replacing the blower motor. He was responsive and very honest. He explained everything he did. Our Trane furnace and air conditioning unit were both installed by Poudre Valley Air in 2013 and we get a maintenance contract with them because they are dependable. I can’t speak highly enough about Steve, the technician. He was terrific.
Very happy with their communication skills, expertise and professionalism. Andy problem solved my issue and quickly provided an itemized estimate. He then effectively communicated the scope of work to Corey, who later performed the installation exactly to specifications. Mad Respect, Poudre Valley Air!
Great company with great people. The installation of my new A/C unit and cleaning of my air ducts was completed by experts of their trade and did an amazing job in a very timely manner. Every one from the front desk to the project managers to the installation techs are a pleasure to work with and take care of everything in a timely manner. This is the 2nd house I've had PVA install part or all of my HVAC and I will continue to use and recommend them.
We have a service contract with PVA for our HVAC system. Furnace gets serviced once a year in the Fall and AC gets serviced once a year in the Spring (or in this case due to the pandemic, Summer). Today we had the AC service completed. We've owned this home less than a year. We knew the AC was old, but we did not know it was 25 years old! It's a York. They certainly don't build 'em like that anymore. Our tech was quite surprised to see how old it is and said it's 10+ years beyond it's expected life, but working perfectly. All tests spec'd out. I appreciate a reputable company with honest employees. Thanks, Jon.
In need of an AC system, we called Poudre Valley Air for a quote. A very nice person came out and explained what we'd need and that we'd be billed $90 for his time, which would be credited back if we went with their service.
The thing is for that service, I'd expect an actual quote. We didn't get that. Nothing about options. Just a statement of work to be done. No options for systems, nothing about the choices in SEER ratings. Nothing. Just here's what we'll take your money for.
Which would be fine, I guess, but we ended up getting another potential customer's emailed quote. And I mean, it was an actual breakdown of three options complete with cost breakdown, SEER ratings, and on professional letterhead. Thinking we'd get that, too, I waited. Nothing.
So I reached out to the person who emailed us the wrong quote and the response was "Call Carrie and get it straightened out."
Now, why should it be that customers should be treated differently for the same kind of service.
It wasn't very professional at all. When I reached out to PVA about paying the $90 house call fee, I made it clear that agreement was -- my assumption -- contingent upon them doing the actual work of supplying a quote.
Crickets.
So, yea, we went with Northern Colorado Air and had a great experience, happily paying $5,000 for a system that is working very, very well, and happily, the crew who did the work was clean, respectful and just super easy to work with.
I needed a second AC unit for upstairs and it was completed within 2 weeks of my first phone call. The sales person and installation crew were extremely knowledgeable and professional. They paid close attention to the things I asked for and met all of my expectations. I would highly recommend Poudre Valley Air to anyone in need of HVAC services.
My mom had a new heater and ac unit installed in 2017. The blower motor went out and even though it covered until warranty it still cost my mom $500 dollars to get them out there and fix it. I guess no company really stands behind what they sell unless you have more money. This also gives companies incentives to install equipment that will not last long. Was told by company you didnt purchase the extra and extra warranty.
Rock best rep to contact very good at giving options And pleasant very professional. Nathan and his partner work well together installing my ac in a very timely manner I have used pouder valley several times they always worked well for me. Thanks to all you are the best!!
