Poudre Valley Air

Got an annual cleaning for my furnace in September 2021. They were on time and very professional. I'm a new homeowner, so they took the time to answer my questions about the system and gave me numerous options for some potential changes I was considering (and also which things probably aren't worth the money-so, honest). I look forward to using them next spring for my AC service.

Wyatt and Dustin did an outstanding job installing our furnace. They are incredibly hard workers and very pleasant to have around. Excellent employees! Actually, everyone we had contact with at Poudre Valley Air was like this, including Dimitri who diagnosed our old dead furnace, and Rock who provided well explained options and an estimate for the work — even the person we first talked to on the phone asking for help! We were really relieved to get a new furnace before the single-digit nights the past two days! Someone up that line deserves an “atta person” for hiring an outstanding team. You are the ones we will judge other services by in the future!
(Edit: I have had several more interactions with PVA and they have all been as good as the first two years ago.)

Just paid the electric bill for the first full month with our new PVA second-floor mini split system. The upstairs office is comfortable for the first time in 15 years. The year-to-year power usage over the same period last year was 127 KWH less (27% reduction). The bill was $17.56 lower (37% reduction). We could never get the upstairs below 78° no matter how cold the downstairs was. Now it is perfectly comfortable upstairs and down with significant savings. The old unit doesn’t even come on until evening on these 90+° days. We didn't know going in whether we would save anything on electricity, but the new system is ultra efficient and is carrying the bulk of the cooling during the day…quietly…inside and outside.
We picked Poudre Valley for their reasonable bid on the system and would go back for their excellent service.

Dominic and the crew did an excellent job of removing our old furnace and air conditioner and installing new equipment. They were very careful of our floor coverings and cleaned up after the work was completed. Rock was our Project Manager and he helped us select new equipment that was significantly better than what we replaced (28 years old), but he did not try to upsell us beyond what we needed. A great cost effective solution was provided by the team at Poudre Valley Air.

Phillip arrived promptly at the scheduled time, greeted me warmly, donned his booties and went right to work. He was very professional in his work and conversations with me. He took time to explain clearly the needed repairs and the alternatives. I am very pleased with the quality of service we get from the capable technicians from Poudre Valley Air.

Brodie had been out here to perform service on our residential heating and AC units, so he was familiar with our systems. Personable technician, no issues, did a thorough job of cleaning our filters, replaced our humidifier core to get ready for next cold season, and prompted us to renew our annual maintenance contract. Enjoyable interaction.

Their folder's cover says, "When you just want great service...", and Poudre Valley Air lives up to that slogan. We called them one day to get our furnace serviced. Well, it was old and leaking a lot of hazardous carbon monoxide. The service tech, Brody, shut off the gas then and there. Yikes! But from that moment on we never felt abandoned. Brody called the office and got us set up to choose a new furnace that night and install it the next day. Then he left us with space heaters to get us through the night. That evening Andy came through with a lot of options, which he helped us navigate easily. We put in our order. The next day, Dominik and Dustin worked the entire day getting us set up with a new furnace and air conditioner. They were extremely professional, keeping our carpets clean, carefully routing all pipes and wires, responding to all my questions and concerns. They even hauled away my old evaporative cooler. Start to finish I could not have been happier with my service experience with Poudre. Thanks everyone!

The salesman was very nice, accurate and knowledgeable. The installation people(Larry G & Dakota M) did a great job installing the unit, checking for operation and resetting the Nest controller. The electricians that were called in did a great job of reviewing the options and making the connections. I will recommend this company to anyone that needs air conditioner.

Our technician, Phillip was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. Our a/c has not been serviced for several years and Phillip was very thorough. He changed the filter in the furnace and the humidifier and showed me how to operate the humidifier. He was also super nice to my dog that wouldn’t leave him alone.
