We needed our AC checked out and inspected (routine thing) and Cody Ashworth came right on time, was professional and polite, and was able to quickly determine everything was in working order and good shape, with the only reccomendation he gave being vent cleaning in the near future. He had a great attitude. After he finished, we had a brief (~5min) but pleasant exchange about, in short, the culinary and philisophical treasures of other cultures.

Of course, his visit was not our first interaction with Lion and we have generally had very good experiences with them in the past, with occasional hiccups such as their technician having to reschedule at the last moment a couple times and once where the price we were quoted for something was so high we wound up doing it ourselves. All in all, great workers and knowledgeable specialists and the company has demonstrated a willingness to work through issues and get things resolved asap.

Joe Alexander installed a cable conduit in the wall of our rental. Walked us through the quote, parts needed, and work involved. Excellent, clean job performed by Joe who was courteous and professional. Highly recommend.

This company stands by their work and provides the most honest service. A couple years back I had serious A/C problems that were caused by poor installation by the home builder (long story) and they fixed it for a reasonable price. The next year, another problem happened and was extremely difficult to troubleshoot but since they started the work, they stuck with me and finished the job. Most companies would simply try to convince you that you need an entire new system without troubleshooting. Their brilliant technician's, Steven Palomares and Garrett Shryock figured out all the problems and fixed each one while keeping the cost super super low. I highly recommend Lion Home Service because they hire the right people and they truly care about their customers.

Friendly, available, but too expensive. They will be a backup for me but not a primary service provider. 800+$ for an elbow, ball valve with a couple solders and 1.5 hrs of work. I wanted to give them a try as a backup. Good quality but 3 stars for value.

Taylor arrived at our house on time, and took the time to talk me through the process of the repairs he was going to do. Taylor was up front about the cost of the repairs and there were no hidden fees. The repair was quick, complete, and there was no mess left behind.

Thank you!

The company is responsive and sent a tech to my house the day that we requested service. They are open about the $29 dispatch fee, but you don't know about the $112 or however much diagnostic fee until they are onsite. I told the company and the tech that I believed the issue was the Capacitor in the Condenser based on my own knowledge and the things I was seeing with the system. As most of these companies do, they showed up without any parts. Fine, there are a number of different capacitors, so it is understandable. I was then told they couldn't get the part that day because it was a Saturday and the supply houses were closed. Again, fair enough. What isn't understandable is the fact that I was quoted almost $1,100.00 to fix this and then told that the system was 16 years old and asked if I just wanted to go ahead and replace the system and not sink that kind of money into an old unit. Luckily, unlike the average consumer, I know a thing or two about HVAC being in construction. I knew for a fact that part replacement is a $200 or less job. I was able to find the replacement Capacitor for FORTY DOLLARS at Ace Hardware in Lakewood, picked the part up, and swapped it myself in less than 15 minutes.

The way they casually attempted to take advantage of me is disgraceful. $125 an hour for a tech is more than enough for an experienced technician. $40 (probably less for a company this size) plus even 40% OH&P and this job should have been quoted at a MAX of $215 with travel, parts and time. As a reminder, they quoted $1,000 to replace this part and recommended another part bringing it to $1,100 total.

If you recently left a mediocre to good review on these guys, I would strongly recommend re-evaluating your review because you probably paid 500% of what you should have. Get multiple quotes people. Lion Home Services is out to take advantage of unknowing homeowners.

Very disappointed with a service where it took him not even a minute to say he couldn’t do. Not even looking at it. I wouldn’t recommend them.
