Although we haven’t committed to Lion for our whole house, duct cleaning just yet, Lion is certainly a top contender. Cody was on time, professional, and enjoyed what he does. I appreciate the fact. That lion is a full service company.

We purchased a Rainsoft water treatment system from Home Service Solutions 4 years ago. While we like the very soft water in the shower, the thing we weren't told about before we purchased the system for a lot of money was the maintenance cost. About $300 after the first and second year each, and a whooping $1,164 for 30 minutes worth of work after 3 years. We contacted Lion Home Service when the maintenance became due again this year to see if we could get better pricing and had to find out that the company that installed the system has the monopoly on Rainsoft systems and filters are only available through them. Andy did a great job providing us with estimates on 3 different levels of maintenance free water treatment systems, and at this point we are in the process of figuring out which one is going to work best for us.

AC unit went out. They tried to repair. Technician was great, but AC officially went out 30 minutes after he left, which he told me that could happen. Called to buy a unit and get it installed and they can’t even see me to go over prices until Friday, 6 days away. I will buy unit now, why can’t you install today??? People don’t want to work anymore is getting really old.

We were told it cost $29 to dispatch a technician to our house. We assumed that was to look at the problem but no. It was literally to only drive to our house. We had to then pay $168 to diagnose the problem. Michael was very polite but our total bill would have been $2,575 to fix two leaky faucets and two toilets that run on and off throughout the day. He did tell us it would be cheaper to just replace the toilets instead of doing a whole tank rebuild. Tank rebuild $750.00 (x2 toilets), $439 to replace a sink cartridge (x2 sinks). These prices are crazy in my opinion. The sink cartridge replacement piece is only $17 on Amazon.

We appreciate the expertise and will now be fixing the problem on our own. It would have been nice for the company to be upfront about their dispatch fee/diagnostic fee from the beginning instead of misleading customers. We will not be recommending this company.

Cody was great! He did some troubleshooting and ended up only charging us our $29 service fee. Didn't try to sell us anything. Said if the problem comes back and he has to do real work that he'll waive the fee next time. Can't ask for more than that. Thanks again!

Garrett was very professional, knowledgeable and personable. He took our family's goals into consideration when making recommendations for our system and clearly explained the pros/cons of those options so I could make an educated decision. Thanks!

Manny was professional and knowledgeable & a hard worker. Top dog. Michael was nice too, but young. My beef today is that after checking 4 other companies for their estimates to replace a water heater, ( of comparable quality, size etc.) your company was consistently the higher bid by :
1. $400.00+
2. $900.00+
3. $900.00+
4. $1100.00+ !!

Your business is perhaps constructed for the customer who has more funds than time, & just wants to get the job done as soon as possible. That isn't my situation.

One other comment: a job on the list today was a faucet that had lost some water pressure. When the plumbing tech looked at it he said " We don't repair these. You'll have to get a new faucet. It'd be about $1000 for faucet & install." There was nothing wrong with it except for some pressure issue showed up after the city flushed the pipes in this neighborhood, (and it had improved on it's own in time.)

I'd say, if your wallet is thin, you may want to try another company.

Whole House Fan Installation
Good
· The install team took the time to find the best spot for the fan’s ceiling grate. Space is limited in our hallway ceiling with several obstructions in the attic space. They spent more than an hour finding a suitable spot.
· The QuietCool fan works well, the motor is quiet and the unit doesn’t rattle. The air flow is good, and it quickly pulls in outside air.
· Quick turnaround time between the initial consultation and the installation day.
· Hard-working and friendly install team

Bad
· Messier than expected. Fiberglass tufts spread from the bedroom with the access panel, into the hallway, down the stairs, and into the living room and kitchen. Drywall dust and fiberglass bits covered the desk, computer, and stair posts from the ceiling vent hole being cut. If we’d known, we would have covered everything better before their arrival.
· They did not a have a vacuum with them and asked to borrow ours for the cleanup. They vacuumed up enough to completely fill the vacuum canister, but we still spent a couple of hours cleaning up all the fiberglass and drywall dust that remained after they left.
· The screws for the ceiling panel were not drilled in straight. 6 of 8 are crooked, drilled in at angle, and the metal frame dented.
· Lack of follow-up from project managers. Still waiting for the receipt and warranty info we asked for, and for another manager to reach out to us regarding the vacuum and the ceiling grate -- days have gone by without a response.

We hired Loin Home Service to replace water heater tank previously and now we explored the best option for improve temperature inside our added space bedroom. Garrett Shryock is friendly, professionally, experienced and he provided us great suggestions on mini-split A/C. We recommend this company for your next home improvement projects.

We've used Lion twice now and I would recommend them to anyone!!! They beyond friendly and helpful with an abundance of knowledge they're willing to share!! We had Andy who installed a new water heater for us when our failed and Buddy came in to do a routine check which unfortunately brought up more repairs.... However, we're so glad to have had him in our home! They both did amazing jobs!!!
