They were able to get a technician (Kyle) out to my address the same day and he was brilliant. He very patiently explained everything he was reviewing and it was obvious he knew exactly what he was talking about. I'm very, very pleased with the service he provided (Becky on the phone as well). We had a Tech, Nick, come to our house to check our furnace and make sure it was working properly...He was fantastic! He knew exactly what he was doing, he knew what things to check on the specific model in our house and what quirks it had. He answered every question I had with patience and clear understanding on my end. He made sure we were satisfied and content with the work he had done. He never once seemed to be anxious to leave and just doing a half-hearted job, even though I knew he had still 5 other calls to get to after leaving our house at 530ish in the evening. He was just great and the communication from Afton was magnificent as well. Both made sure we were taken care of and satisfied. I will definitely call this company again if I should ever have more issues!!!
Nick from Reliable Heating & Cooling was contacted by my warranty company to come out and check out my furnace in the middle of the night. I am so glad that they contracted him out for the job. Our furnace ignition wasn't lighting and he was able to come in and took his time diagnosing the problem to to ensure that he was fixing the right part. He explained each step he was taking and made sure I understood what he was working on.
So many HVAC contractors are out to cheat their customers, but Nick was genuine and kind. He didn't have the part that was needed to fix the furnace in his truck but was able to get our furnace to run through the night to keep the house warm until he was able to return in the morning with the part we needed.
He was also very upfront as to what the warranty company was going to try to do and what they would or would not cover ensuring that I knew exactly what i would be paying for.
I definitely recommend Nick from Reliable Heating & Cooling for your potential future repairs. They are the most honest company I've worked with by far.
Nick came out when our AC quit on us. He was extremely friendly and took the time to explain what he was looking at, why it was important, and what I could do on my own to prevent future calls. Not only did he give me the absolute cheapest AC bill I've ever had, but he gave me some GREAT advice on the house I still own in Texas. Hands down the best company I've ever dealt with and they are officially my go to from now on.
My family and I experienced a gas leak in our home on Easter morning. The weather on that day was nearly '0' degrees with high winds, and we were forced to evacuate for fear of explosion . Responding Firefighters believed the leak was caused by our water heater pilot light blowing out during the storm. It appeared the 'safety mechanism' designed to shut off gas flow in such an event, had failed. I followed up with 'Blue Ribbon Home Warranty', for an inspection the following day, and they sent out 'Reliable Heating & Cooling'. The technician seemed to do an honest inspection of my water heater, but couldn't confirm the source of the leak because he wasn't able to make the safety fail again (after one attempt). He did acknowledge the age of my water heater (20 years), and agreed it should be replaced, but would need to get approval from 'Blue Ribbon' first obviously. I paid my $90 for the inspection and waited to hear back from 'Reliable Heating & Cooling'. That was the last I heard from them... no phone call, nothing. I called Blue Ribbon to see if they had received any communication, but they too had not. I made a follow-up call with Reliable Heating and Cooling about two weeks later, and was assured someone would follow-up with me. Four days later, still no word. I had to call them back.... And as I write, I'm still waiting for a response. In the meantime, the family and I go to bed every night wondering if we'll wake up to another leak. My concerns haven't been taken seriously by this company, and I'll never use them again, if I have anything to do with it. If you're wondering why I don't just replace the water heater on my own- that's because I PAY for warranties. And I expect those warranties to help me out in these times of need. And I expect companies like 'Reliable Heating and Cooling' to be my advocate. I wasn't asking for any favors. I merely wanted them to take my concern seriously and to follow-up in the way the technician said he would. I'm glad to see other folks had a fine experience with this company- I just wasn't one of them.
Like many others in the Colorado Springs area, I've bounced between various HVAC companies over the last few years and have been unhappy with the drama and service from the competition. I saw such great reviews for Reliable I decided to give them a try! They installed a new humidifier for me, performed my annual furnace inspection, and replaced my heat exchanger. They arrived on time, completed the work conscientiously, cleaned up the area after the work was done, explained every step of the process, took pictures of the whole system before, during, and after the repair, and explained exactly what they did, exactly how to use the humidifier, and exactly what to expect in terms of performance. They were also very covid-safe, which I greatly appreciate! Since the service, I have seen a reduction in my utility expenses (yay!) and have enjoyed a more comfortable and warmer home! Thank you so much for providing such a great service!
