Polar Bear Furnace and AC

I contacted John (the owner) on a Saturday evening because our water heater died. He was quick to get us an estimate, and let us know he and his team would be able to install a new one for us on Monday! John and his team arrived on time, they kept us in the loop throughout the entire process so we knew what was happening. They had the new water heater installed in a couple of hours and it's been working perfectly ever since. Cannot recommend Polar Bear Mechanical enough. Professional, easy to work with and affordable.

They are the only company I will use. Extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and easy to work with. They are all very good with my pets too! My latest dealing with them was my maintenance check. Shawn was great and very thorough. Again can't recommend them more!

I had Polar Bear come to my house to see if they could fix my a/c unit. I made the mistake of saying I’m selling my house and apparently the technician(Shawn) thought he could scam me by saying the entire a/c unit needed replaced. He quoted me $4,500 to replace the outside unit and $6,638 to replace everything. I had another company come out and there were able to replace the condenser fan motor for $620. Polar Bear also charged me a diagnostic fee and diagnosed it wrong- so don’t waste your time with people who waste yours.

Over the years I have had issues with contractors doing various things I could not or did not want to do. Most ended with regrets and just having to figure it out and do it myself.
I ended up getting a bunch of quotes. Polar Bear was not one of the original set I requested. They asked a few times. I liked the name and was guessing they really wanted the job.
I liked the guys that did the bid. They were very informative and answered all my questions. They ended up not being the least expensive bid.
They were one of the few contractors installing higher end equipment. I went with Polar Bear after checking them out a little. Looked at their reviews, website, and Youtube videos.
Job went above my expectations. All the equipment was installed and works great. The technicians showed my everything and answered questions during the install process. I would highly recommend Polar Bear.

Shawn was awesome to work with. He called ahead, was early, and worked to make sure everything was done properly.

I originally spoke with Steve, who I believe is the owner, extremely personable and above all he was honest. Shawn was the maint tech that carried out the work. Again, Shawn was honest and professional at all times. Not at any point do I think this company was merely after money, they wanted to provide a good service and and do the job right. My furnace is on it's last legs and I will be going to these guys for the replacement.

All other companies should follow the example Polar Bear has set. Every aspect of their company excels at what they do! The responsiveness, knowledge and care is exceptional! John, you guys are rock stars and keep up the superb job! On behalf of National Mill Dog Rescue we highly recommend you!

I have used this company twice now and they are amazing. The first time we were told something was going to cost between $1k and $2.5k to fix for the A/C. They came in and found the problem and fixed it under $700. Then today we thought our furnace had completely kicked the bucket since it’s pretty old. Rather than take the easy money and say we needed a new one which we were bracing for, they did a diagnostic and all it was, was a $350 dollar repair. This is by far the most honest and fair cost place in Colorado Springs.

Not to mention how nice and professional their guys are. We will continue to call these guys for everything and refer anyone that needs help to them.
