Polar Bear Furnace and AC

Our thermostat failed, but although we installed a new one, the furnace still wasn’t turning on. We thankfully got a same morning appointment. Shawn Bedell came out and professionally and quickly fixed the problem and now it’s running great! Our furnace and A/C are older and he showed us where the furnace is failing and when it does fail talked about replacement options. Thanks Shawn and Polar Bear!!

Shawn Bedell was amazing. He came earlier than scheduled, kept me informed of what needed repaired and the cost, and tolerated my barking dog (sorry). I will continue to use Polar for all our heating and cooling needs.

Once again, this company amazes me! They originally installed a brand-new A/C unit in our home. They were super professional, thorough, explained everything to us, economical, on time, and more. It has been a pleasure doing business with Polar Bear. After they installed our new unit, we also had them service our heater. I could not be happier with their service. Do you know how I know they did a great job? Because when the inspector confirmed to us that everything was done properly. I highly recommend them to everyone :)

My wife called me at noon while I was at work and told me the furnace was out and the house was very cold. I called two other HVAC companies looking for a same day service call, but neither could fit me in for several days. The last place referred me to Polar Bear and they were able to get me in that afternoon. Shawn Bedell was the technician and he immediately diagnosed the problem as the inducer motor, ran out to pick up the part, and was able to get the heat back on by 5pm. Great Job!

Shawn came to do a furnace inspection and maintenance. He was on time and friendly and answered all of my questions. He found some potential issues and was able to fix them on the same day. I will definitely call Shawn and Polar Bear again in the future.

My first time using Polar Bear Mechanical. Very pleased with the timely, friendly, and professional service of my Daikin Mini-split system. It had been several years since my last service and one of the interior heads had a very dirty blower motor and just recently had started leaking water inside the house (plugged drain line). Dylan thoroughly cleaned that head and cleared the drain blockage quickly, then checked the other head and the outdoor compressor to verify that all was OK with them. I appreciated his friendliness and patience in answering my many questions. I also like the e-mail reminders confirming the service date and time window and that Dylan gave me a call when he was on his way within the scheduled service window. Another thing I appreciate about Polar Bear is that they do not push “service contracts” like so many other HVAC companies are doing these days---they just come when needed and do a great job (and a real live person answers the phone!!!)
