Coyote HVAC

High recommendation for Coyote HVAC. We were having issues with our Water Sourced Heat Pump. Nick was professional, personable, fixed our issue and took the time to provide an explanation. We have used Coyote for a couple years now after having a terrible experience with our previous HVAC company.

Job took more than twice as long as it should have as a result of their material mess ups (which if I hadn't inspected their work would have been left, and the heat pump wouldn't have been able to heat my house adequately). First, coyote installed the wrong (less expensive, lower capacity) air handler in my house, then the installation crew left without completing the full scope of work. In addition, the crew made no real effort to keep my house clean, getting mud all over for me to clean every day. It took way too much effort on my part, I shouldn't have to go down in the crawlspace and inspect that the scope work was complete. I should not have to verify that the right air handler was installed. The crew also left trash all over my crawlspace: zip ties, screws, sharp pieces of sheet metal, old ductwork.

Then Coyote sends me a final invoice a week after completing the work, and I pay it in full that day. Fast forward 2 weeks, and I call xcel to verify the submission of rebate paperwork (It hadn't been done yet). I call coyote and they claim I owe more than the final invoice that I paid in full. Apparently from an invoice they sent me before any work was done and before the final invoice that I paid in full. These are obviously deceptive business practices.

Don't waste your time with Coyote HVAC.

Update: They did come back and clean out the crawl space, finish the duct work. It took this review to get that to happen.

After I asked why Coyote didn't file for a permit like they said they would, a company called "Tin Man Heating LLC" filed for the permit. Their description of the work said they were swapping out like for like equipment, which was not true. I had a furnace removed and heat pump + air handler installed. Not like for like. Why misrepresent that? The whole thing seems very sketchy. Supposed to be a $3.5K rebate to Coyote from city of Denver for this, but they wouldn't have been able to get that (permit is required) had I not spoken up.

I wouldn't trust this company to do any work ever again.

I recently took services of Coyote HVAC in Englewood for an inspection of my air conditioners at home. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the service was fast and efficient. Highly recommend!

Nick and Darius came by to help diagnose a problem with my furnace. Nick and Darius were able to show up a little early, but called first to make sure it was ok. They were professional, thorough, and did a great job educating and communicating the problem with me. I've only use Coyote HVAC since moving to Colorado and wouldnt change. They have been great every time. Good job Nick and Darius, it was great meeting you.

Dominic and Darius came out to install my new furnace and they were friendly and efficient. They also got a duct that was not properly connected. Great work by Dominic and Darius.

Nick with Coyote HVAC was absolutely awesome to work with! Nick came to fix our heat system at 6pm on a Friday and was a huge help. He was professional, knowledgeable, kind, and truly cared about helping us out. Nick was able to get the heat up and running with in an hour and was truly a life saver (it was 30's and freezing!).
