Wow! I consider ourselves lucky to have called this company when our water heater broke and we woke up to water pouring out of our garage on a Sunday morning. They returned my call immediately and arranged for a technician to come to our house. He couldn’t come till 5:00 as he was finishing other emergency jobs. But Julian was incredible. He was polite, very informative, and obviously highly skilled and expert in his work. When he finished a little after 10 PM, we had a beautifully installed and setup new water heater and he reviewed it’s features, answered all our questions. Five stars to this company and Julian. Excellent experience.

Jose Bruno was fabulous, very knowledgeable in all aspects of the products and installation and building code requirements. Very friendly, explained all the options in detail. Communication was great, on time and clean working habits.

Friendly and approachable. I hope we will have no water heater emergency like this in the future but in case it happens again I will call them first before others. They did a great job! I liked their quick response and informative communications, keeping me in touch when the technician was on the way. Luis was professional and explained the repair replace options. I chose the replace option as it was 1/4 of the expense of replacement. Luis did a professional timely installation. With repair there is no warranty for service or parts. I’m on my own for a chunk of change if anything goes wrong.

We had a great experience with our water heater install. Austin was very clear and calm and pro. He did an excellent job with both our water heater install, but also with a couple other updates to our system.

Had our old gas water heater replaced by Daniel in San Diego. Daniel was knowledgeable and professional. He has great customer service and left the area clean.

Our old water heater gave up the ghost but we were able to get our hot water back on with DK’s professional help. He was early, courteous, knowledgeable and very helpful in diagnosing the repair issues and walking us through our options. He was able to install a new heater right away, and was super quick and efficient. I’d recommend them to anyone in need of water heater repair/installation.

Scott did a fantastic job installing a new tankless water heater. Their pricing is very competitive and they offer free 3 year maintenance. Highly recommended.

I got a new water heater in June 2022 for 2172$. The work was done promptly and am happy with the technician who arrived. But the water heater leaked and the tank had to be replaced again in Feb 2023. It turned out that our pressure regulator was old and blew up at some point. I had to pay 1000$ for the labor and parts for the second replacement even though the tank was under warranty. This was in addition to 500$ for replacing the pressure regulator. The technician should have noticed that the pressure regulator was old during the first visit even if it was functional at that time and marked replacing it as an action item during the first visit. Will be going with a big box store for this kind of work in the future as they seem to provide a 3 year warranty on labor for a comparable price as opposed to 3 months provided by Castlework.

In response to the owner’s response: I am not sure if the pressure regulator was fully functional during the first install. We had very high pressure in the house for a long time now and it should have been flagged by your technician in the first visit. Also doesn’t change the fact that at least two of your competitors offer much longer warranty on labor than your company at the same price point.
