I had two houses with 40 year old heating systems. Had new heat pump systems with heating and air conditioning and new ducts installed in both. Joel did the installation on one house and Elmer on the other. In one house switched from furnace in the garage, under house ducts, and vents in floor to unit in the attic, ducts in attic and vents near ceiling. Everything went smoothly and with almost no disruption to the household. We even got an extended lesson on how to operate the new thermostats. Pleased with the work at both houses.

HVAC Gurus did a considerable amount of work in our garage -- extending a 240 volt electrical line from the breaker at the front of the house to the garage, installing a Mitsubishi 12,000 BTU mini-split AC/heater, insulation of the walls and attic, installing a programmable thermostat, and adding six ceiling lights to the garage.

Some highlights:
1. Pricing -- highly competitive; total bid was ~ $3000 less than others
2. Quality -- excellent, especially the HVAC installation
3. Knowledge of products -- incredible. Most people do not pay as much attention to their HVAC as they do to say a car or a computer. That's not me. I wanted a very specific high end model and they got me that one.
4. Design -- very good. I had extensive discussions with Simon, the owner, at my garage before the work started to consider options. If you don't want to get a general contractor and architect, these guys are the next best thing.
5. Communication -- very good. Priya is the coordinator and is very easy to work with.
6. Professionalism -- Workers are friendly and competent. They made sure everything was impeccable after each day of work.

These guys really hit the sweet spot between price and quality for an extensive renovation.

I was looking to install a min split system in my house, I chatted with about 7 different HVAC companies and with all I felt like they are either trying to over charge me or just unprofessional.

When I got to talk to Simon from HVAC Gurus, I automatically realized I am about to do business with a great guy, honest and professional. On the first call Simon told me exactly what the job will look like and priced it VERY fair!

His team came by on the schedule time and within 3 hours they were done, super professional guys, did the end to end job, from the power, to the indoor and outdoor unit install and add to that they made sure everything is clean when they left.

An hour later I got a call from Simon confirming everything went ok which just put the last nail on showing me how much him and his team were worth my business.

I read endless reviews across Yelp and Google. I had 4 companies come to the home and provide insight, suggestions and ultimately estimates on installing a mini-split ductless AC/heater. HVAC took top marks across everything. Personable introduction to the company with the VP and eventually a crew of 4 that did the installation. Respectful, clean, thorough work on instal and each person happy to answer my endless questions about this and that. Also relieved that they were careful in their work on an old home with lathe and plaster walls. Would use them again if the need arises.

I just started renting a new home and I could not get the furnace to turn on. My landlord reached out to Simon and got him to give me a call. Within seconds of my landlord reaching out Simon was calling my cellphone. He was going about his Saturday errands and was able to troubleshoot with me over the phone rather than trying to defer and make a service call. You can tell they actually care and really just want to help you. Simon is incredibly helpful and nice. I would highly recommend them!

Rich @HVAC Gurus came out and gave me an estimate for a new HVAC system to replace my 20+ year old units. He was very receptive to my needs and cost issues and worked to get my units in ASAP at a good price. The technicians completed the installation in 1 day and did a great job. I love the new system. After the install, Rich made sure to follow-up with me and immediately made sure that a few minor issues were addressed to ensure my satisfaction. I am happy with the results.

Rich at HVAC Gurus came to inspect my current furnace and gave me an estimate for the replacement. He was very attentive and listened to what I needed and made sure to work within my budget and my time schedule. He was also honest on what he could do for the replacement job. The installer then came on the scheduled date and completed the job within a day and did a clean job and a proper installation. The system is up and working. Rich also made sure to follow up after the installation.

Price was competitive to others and results are better than what we thought it will be.

I had a great experience working with Simon (estimate, phone support) and Eric (installation).
The communication is clear, decisions are supported with documentation, work is done well, the space is left nice and clean.
They had someone in the office who did the checks of the city regulations regarding what solutions were allowed.
They considered my requests and fulfilled those possible within the code. They even carefully replanted a rose bush that was in the way of the unit placement.
