I cannot be more than happy to recommend HVAC and Insulation Gurus for your HVAC issues, after nearly one month out of AC, and paid two HVAC companies to diagnose issues, both estimated more than $1K+ to fix the “wire” problem between my condo unit to the rooftop condenser, one proposed to use invasive way, wireless remotely control system, the other propose to fish the new wires. I was not convinced, so I end-up called 3rd company – “HVAC guru” for consultation, luckily I spoke to the owner Simon, after carefully listening to my story, he immediately said to me that it doesn’t sound right, it should not be that complicated, and he generously offer to come onsite next day to take a quick look, he said if he can’t fix it, he won’t charge us. When he was on site, he was able to identify and fixed the real issues, he got the system up and running in less than 2 hrs. I appreciated his professionalism, customer service, quality of work and fair price. He earned my respect and future business.

Best service ever. Simon was great: arrived on time, and explained that I need a high-voltage (I had bought low-voltage), not a low-voltage thermostat replacement, and showed me all the wires and fuses. He also helped buy a new one online, and I'm confident I can install it myself when it arrives now.

Highly recommended.

The Gurus far exceeded their mission. I inquired with them to provide me with an estimate for a new furnace. The office staff were extremely friendly and made the scheduling process very easy.

Simon came out to my home on the given date and time for our appointment. I was beyond impressed with the knowledge he had to offer and the time that he took to discuss all of the options I had and would be the most ideal for my home. His charming personality made me feel like I was talking to a long-term friend and not a salesman.

Of course, I was happy with the estimate he provided and I awarded them the job. The techs that came to my home were also very friendly, communicative and helpful.

I felt very comfortable through the process from beginning to end. Thanks to the Gurus, I am more than prepared for the upcoming cold season with my brand spankin new high-efficiency Carrier furnace.

P.S. I am sure my friends and family will be jealous

I contracted HVAC gurus to reinstall a botched HVAC system installation with a previous contractor as well as install new insulation in the attic. I initially went with them as they offer competitive pricing for the value offered. HVAC Gurus went above and beyond to not correct the previous companies mistakes but improve my overall system design. They did a thorough job of explaining the changes they were planning and their motivations. I worked with competent professionals throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend this company to anyone and will continue to use them for all my HVAC needs.

A technician named Simon came to fix the AC for us today. He was so friendly and polite: he confirmed with me before the appointment and he respected the shoes-outside house rule. He was also willing to explain what’s the problem with the AC to us. Most importantly, he fixed our AC efficiently. I would definitely recommend him and HVAC Gurus!

Simon is fantastic. He fixed three of our Carrier AC units. I have asked two different technicians prior and both of them said the AC compressors are locked in and no longer works and asked me to get new compressors. Simon did a great job finding the issues and solved the problems without changing compressors. Highly recommended.

I had issues with my AC unit as it was no longer blowing cold air and scheduled an appt for a tech to come take a look from another company. The tech opened up my unit and as soon as he saw that we also had a "pancake unit" upstairs he said he could not work on them. It was hard to find a servicer in the area that can work on these also because I have R22 gas which was banned in 2014. Insulation Gurus said that they could help (they also gave me a diagnosis quote about half the price of competitors). They came out right away and I was lucky enough to meet Simon. He checked everything and went above and beyond me expectations. He made sure that I was informed throughout the entire process and gave me alternative solutions to help save money. 2 other companies told me that I had to replace the whole unit which would cost about $7K-$10K without trying to find a better solution first. In the end Simon saved me a ton of money and it really showed that he takes care of his customers. We had to order some parts but Simon made sure that they sent out a tech (Randy) the next day to get the issue fixed ASAP and again went above and beyond my expectations (Thank you Randy!). I literally taped their business card to my garage wall because I don't want to work with anyone else! Not only do I appreciate their service but, moreover, I am pleased that I got to meet such a great person I can trust.. Simon! By far the best service from any technician that ever came to our home for repairs for any issue! Thanks again guys!

Gurus discovered in addition to radiant heating we had a heating system which was never hooked up. It was amazing what they found on our roof. Simon was excellent as well as other technicians. We have a wonderful heating system and they saved us a lot of money. Arden’s

I recently moved to the country from Australia (with a background in HVAC, they called us "Fridgies" back home...) and have been renovating my home. I messaged HVAC Gurus and got a great response, quickly. Simon came out to check out the job and was fantastic to deal with. Even though they weren't able to help me out by doing the work for me (due to my own limitations, not theirs), they were amazing sources of information and able to direct me to the right places to finish my job. To me, when a business can't help you or make money off you but still goes out of their way to make sure you get the best service and information, that earns 5 stars. I even wanted to pay Simon for his time but he said no. A real gentleman and far too honest!

Everything is working great. The installation was good, Eric was polite and professional .
