Friars Heating and Air replaced my AC and furnace last week. I am very happy with their work and their ethics. I had three other estimates and Friars was the only company that gave me a true evaluation of what I needed. I had a contractor friend evaluate my duct system prior to getting estimates so I knew the condition of my system. The other estimates all told me I really needed a new duct system.. I so truly appreciate the honesty of Gary who inspected my home, told me my duct system was ok and wrote my estimate. The crew showed up on time and started working right away. A great group of guys!
Everything was tested and I was taught how to use the system before they left. Something done that I didn't expect is that they soundproofed the closet where the new equipment was installed. I can barely hear it when it's on. When my old system turned on I needed to turn up the TV. Lol Everything was cleaned and all the old equipment was removed. If I can just mention one more thing that is awesome. New units come with a new thermostat.. I wanted a thermostat that worked with Alexa and Google. That's what was installed even though it was an upgrade there was not an extra charge. I am very happy with their work and recommend them to anyone looking to install or upgrade their current system.

Great experience. I called on Monday and they got a tech out Tuesday morning. Roman was able to take care of all the outstanding issues with our heat pump (it was a lot and not unexpected on my part - he spent at least 4 hours and got everything done I was hoping for, from coil cleaning to replacement parts for the compressor and cleaning out the drain/modifying some piping) which was a bit of a relief, as I was willing but not thrilled about the idea of replacing the system. Very satisfied with service and price, would recommend and will use again.

Nick was professional and fixed my AC issues by replacing the pump, a rusty tube, and added a capacitor which were all needed and value add. The price was extremely affordable during this heat wave. This was a true blessing because Nick fixed my issue the same day I discovered it.

Replaced our A/C unit. Professional and fast. Very responsive to our special requests. Miguel checked our vents and filters and educated us on how/frequency of changing filters to extend life of equipment. Outstanding service.

Nicholas was friendly and knowledgeable. He quickly identified the issue and got my air conditioning back up and running. l would definitely use Friars for any AC repair issues.

We used Friars Heating & Air years ago and they seemed like such an honest company. I was impressed and the gentleman even did some work without charging us. Now in our new house we needed a mini split for one room so I gave them a call.

They quoted me on a small job, a mini split for just one room and the amount was $12,749. The estimator didn't even look in the attic to see the ducting work that would have to be done.

That number seemed absurd to me so I called Airmaxx. Airmaxx came in, (the actual person who will be doing the work did the estimate) looked at the whole house, looked in the attic and quoted $7,900 for the exact same job and even with a little better model of the Mitsubishi unit.

Airmaxx is one of the more expensive companies so I am assuming I can find some quotes for even less if I wanted.

Friars Heating and Air over charging by $5,000+ on a job is pretty messed up. Like what if I didn't get any other quotes, then they would have just brutally ripped me off?

Moral of the story is get other quotes before using them. I don't want to see anyone getting ripped off like what almost happened to me.

I was referred to this company by a good friend of mine. I am so thankful I was able to speak to one of the owners Carlos Mora who explained everything to me throughly... i had a new central A/C and Heating System installed.

Frankie and Nick who were professional, personable, and always on time. I found them to be very knowledgeable in this field, very easy-going, patient, and very hard workers!!!
