Friars was fantastic. I took a long time to decide what to do with our house because we needed everything: a new furnace and new AC, and I was stunned at the sticker shock of all the estimates I had. Everyone suggested mini splits for our house, but Alex and Carlos really took the time to explain both the benefits and downsides to all the different options. The entire time, they were professional, kind, and patient with me as I asked a myriad of (ignorant) questions, which they patiently answered without making me feel dumb. I feel like I got an entire education on HVAC systems! We are very happy with all the strong communication, their pride in workmanship, and their professional work and communication. They respected our time, our hesitation to spend all that money, and our property. In the end, we are super glad we went with them because we feel they take so much pride in their work and it seems like they will stand behind it. And you should see their work! It's really pretty! (never thought I'd say that about HVAC stuff!:-) Thanks Friars!

Excellent. Nice fella, came in ready to work, had all tools to make it happen. And it happened. All fixed up, informed me of what was going on. Almost too easy. Thanks.

I had a small apartment with no AC. Carlos and his crew installed a ductless mini split AC at a very reasonable price. We had a small issue with the installation but they were able to fix the problem easily. The new system works great. Keep up the good work!

Needed an AC upgrade to our home because ours was an older unit and we needed the AC unit moved. Called the company that the local Costco uses and they flaked out. Multiple calls were not returned and their quote was very high. Gave the Friars company a try and we weren’t disappointed. Fast, friendly and quality workmanship. Give the crew at Friars Heating & Air a call if you want the job done right.

The entire crew is knowledgeable, respectful and communicative. It’s been a pleasant experience having them upgrade my home.

Our spa in Coronado tried to use their service, first they said 69$ for service call, offered us a repair for 300$ (Repair that should cost not more then 150$ - ask for a double price)when we agreed on the next day for the price, they wanted us to pay up front before the technician even solve the problem, when I asked why they said that this is they way that they do business-(really??? You pay the full amount before the job is done? And if it’s not the issue with the ac and it’s a different problem?)

Anyway - overprices + poor costumer service.

Raul was great! He provided excellent service and explained things very thoroughly. I felt very satisfied with all the advice he gave and with the repairs he made. I’d highly recommend the business as well as Raul.

We are very happy with this company. We suffered with no AC for a few years. We finally decided to add ac to our San Diego home. We contacted three companies for bids and Friars came in the middle. We went with them for a new 3 ton Ac system. They came on time , they were careful with my belonging and they did a very good job on the installation. We are happy with the new AC replacement.

I received really good service from this company. We turned on the heater but we didnt get any hot air. We were able to get them to come out the next day and it was a bad sensor. rick was able to change it out within an hour and the repair price was very reasonable. thank you guys.
