Let me say I usually dont leave reviews, but I definitely had to make mention that being without air when outside temp is 105 degrees is definitely not fun. But despite my frustration the employee Bonny @ Gilmore made my experience as a customer a pleasant one. I felt heard and understood She was nice, professional, helpful and empathic to my situation. Everything she told me she was going to do she did. She was patient and Im pleased to say she went beyond her duty. Its hard to find good customer service, now a days, but not with Bonney. I was really impressed. I also want to make mention of Greg, he came out to my house spoke with me, explained everything step by step. He was so polite , professional and thorough. Thank you Gilmore for having wonderful emplyees. Hopefully I wont need to call anytime soon.
I can’t speak to the quality of their work since I didn’t use this business. Their flat bid price quote was quite high, and they refused to break out the cost into parts and labor. So I went with another contractor that did excellent job at a third of the cost.
I have always used Gilmore and everything they have done has been excellent, but I did have a bad experience with them recently. After installing a new water heater, the heat level is not what I like, which is HOT water. The water temp now would barely be considered hot, and when I called them they sent a service man who said he wouldn't turn the temperature up, because he didn't want it to scald me. Hell, it's not even HOT, let alone scalding!!! I would expect more after an almost $5,000 water heater replacement bill!!!!!! And from Gilmore.
Gilmore has always provided excellent service for my heating/air systems. The technicians are professional, friendly, and answer my questions/concerns thoroughly and in a way I can understand the issues.
Gilmore moved quickly to install and thoroughly explained the service. They guarantee all their work and perform tune-ups as a standard service of install. Highly recommended. : )
I had called another plumbing service. The tech was curt on the phone, then didn't show up complaining of the icy road. I called Gilmore the next morning and they came out that day, fixed my problem, was on time and very courteous and helpful in expelling things. I always use and highly recommend Gilmore for Heating and Air. I am now adding plumbing to the list! They are great!
Gilmore never disappoints in their committment to service. We have had multiple instances of urgent issues and Gilmore has always made us feel our concerns matter. I will share two situations. The first was in the Summer during 110 temperatures. Our AC went out and Gilmore brought us a mobile air conditioner to keep us cool until they could look at our system. I should add, the hvac system we had was not from Gilmore. It wasn't a hard decision who to go with when we had to buy a replacement. The second is recently. Our heater went out the day before Christmas Eve and we were expecting guests. They were able to get someone out to help us on Christmas Eve. Scott was knowledgeable, efficient and supportive. I cannot say enough about Gilmore...they are best in class.
They did an inspection of the safety of our furnace, finding it VERY dangerous to run (considering it is 45 years old) . We are having a new system installed. The technician was very professional and showed me all the problems. He crawled on the attic took pictures of my ducts and explained I was lucky that it quit working before having a fire or a carbon monoxide issue. I would recommend this company to anyone.
Mac and his assistant Hussein came ready to work! I could tell right away that Mac was professional, intuitive, and resourceful.
Mac explained what he was going to do to service our downstairs HVAC system. During his maintenance process he told us what he found, with pictures and videos as needed. Ours is an older unit which will probably be replaced in the next year or two. The two workers spent over two hours on the older system as well as checking on our four mini- splits upstairs.
I would request Mac for our next service call. He is respectful and helpful in weighing the pros and cons of the older HVAC.
Carlos got to my house, I opened the door with a bag full of garbage, he took the garbage out and brought the garbage cans from the street up to the house. That's service. Performed the routine tests, showed me what he had done via his cell phone. Gilmore is awesome, products are are top-noche, and customer service is the very best.
