If you want to pay top dollar, like almost $13,000.00 to have your A/C unit replaced then go to Gilmore. If you want an unsolicited 19 year old tech sent out that turns off your heater so it can't be used then after 2 weeks of them not being able to sell you a new heater and you call and talk to the mgr. Jason Marshall because it's freezing outside and he laughs at you and tells you to go ahead and waste your money on an attorney, call Gilmore. Then they finally tell you to call PG&E they will come out and turn the heater back on, call Gilmore.
They messed up the appointment twice....personal reasons first then they sent a plumber to do HVAC. I have another appt scheduled next week. Hope they get it right this time!
Derrick did a great job! He was early, Did a thorough job on our preventative maintenance inspection, and was very knowledgeable. Derrick shared a tip on how to change the filter easily and expained everything he checked and cleaned in laymans terms. Aways have great service from Gilmore and their technicians!
We had been having a very tricky problem for awhile, but Jose A. diligently traced the problem to a bad solder connection in our HVAC unit. He did not give up until the problem was solved! Thank you Jose and Gilmore!
The service provided was custom plumbing repair. Chris was professional, pleasant, and efficient. This is the second time I’ve had occasion to use Gilmore, and I’ve been very satisfied with their service. I highly recommend them.
I was very impressed with Mack today, meeting him for the first time. Very professional, honest, showed me on his tablet all the phases, areas he checked and cleaned on my AC part of the unit.This was a first for me, to actually see inside and learn how all this works together. I am 100% satisfied that Mack fulfilled his maintenance duties, keeping my unit running smoothly into the future. I will be requesting him again. The Red Carpet Service is for real! Today, I needed a high ceiling light bulb replacement and a screen door repair that he could do quickly. I’m a very satisfied Gilmore customer—since 1973!
Visit was mainly for estimate to replace HVAC system , but they did some basic repairs to keep system going a little longer. I am hiring them to replace the system even though they were a little higher than the other quotes.

We had a furnace not working and after calling Gilmore, Kyle call me to explain that he could no longer source the board to our heating unit, it just wasn’t available anymore! He suggested a new furnace and potentially a new AC unit while we were at it! His verbal quote was $15k-$20k. You want to trust people you’ve done business with for years, but Gilmore failed in this instance! One call to a different HVAC Contractor and we had same day service! He had four of those boards that Kyle cold no longer get in his truck! He replaced the board charged me $98 for the service call and the board! Gilmore HVAC lied about the availability of the board in question and should be prosecuted for “fraud”! This type of business practice should be criminal! Monday they will no longer have our maintenance agreement and they will be asked to never step foot on our property in Camino, CA again!
Mac at Gilmore came out to my place to do a thorough furnace inspection. He was extremely professional, explained things in an easy to understand manner, was very polite. He’s a great representative of Gilmore. Bill use them whenever I need. Thank you Mac!!
