Scott is the greatest technician ive ever encountered. Hes very knowledgeable, intelligently answered all my questions, witty and fun! If u encounter people like him, u will really smile. He took the time in explaining and draw whats the problem and what needs to be done. Now i understand everything without searching it. Hes like a walking and talking google😁 He answers honestly and truthfully. Now if all technicians are like that, then this world will be a better place for homeowners like me. The job was left incomplete. Heater is not working, there are 3 holes in our bedroom walls, and a piece of yard art was broken. We allowed them in our house while we were at work and when I got home one of the technicians handed me my phone charger, that he had “borrowed.” Am I being picky? That did not sit well with me. We chose to go with Gilmore due to the reputation, not sure it was worth it.They even left some old vent covers which do not match the white ones they put in. We paid for a full replacement and new system. However, Randy who was our comfort specialist was amazing when signing us up, but not impressed one bit with the technicians. Hopefully, things get resolved.
They were on time and very professional . The employees worked hard and cleaned up after themselves. They stayed in touch from the salesperson to the installation crew. I highly recommend this company.
Wanted check valve installed for circulating pump system for hot water. Service person nice but not very knowledgeable, needed to call supervisior to know what I wanted done. Estimate was $1189 for a two to three hour job plus parts. Asked for a call back and I did not receive one. $189 charge for estimate that did not have charges for labor and parts itemized. I was willing to pay $850 for service. Too expensive for me.
We’ve used Gilmore since we moved to Amador County two years ago. Their Staff is very professional, on time and knowledgeable. There is no pressure of up-selling services and they are always upfront and honest about things that could be wrong with the system or may need future repair. I really like using this company for our heating and cooling needs.
We have used Gilmore for over 20 yrs. Regular maintenance of heating and air. We had them replace our system about 14 yrs ago. We also had them replace our insulation and duct work in the attic. They came up with a redesign which greatly improved getting A/C in the master bedroom. The technicians have all been courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and always take time to explain what work they performed and alert us to any potential problems. They even take pictures. We are very satisfied with Gilmore's service.
Our heater would not start. Gilmore sent out Lorenzo to check out the problem. At first he thought the transformer was bad and planned to replace it. He then tried the reset button before replacing the transformer and the furnace was functioning properly. We thankful for this since it was a huge savings. Great job Lorenzo.
Bravo Gilmore Heating and Air! I have used you before many years ago when I was in a pinch without air during the 100 degree summer months. Your employees were professional and went above and beyond so I called for the $89 HVAC summer tune up offer. Reps reached out immediately and the next day we had an appointment. After reviewing my 35 year old original air conditioner we decided it was time to bite the bullet and replace it. I was not disappointed with their service. I also had cracks in my furnace so we had to buy both heater and AC unit. They made it easy and affordable. I used their financing program! It was installed the same week!!! Friendly, professional and trustworthy. Glad I reached out and trusted them once again!!!!

I signed up for Gilmore's maintenance program which provides two yearly reviews, discounted services, and VIP service for emergencies. I have two homes with Gilmore's maintenance plan and couldn't be happier. Love the company, but Mr. Gilmore needs more dance lessons for his commercials. ;)
