I attempted to get a detailed estimate to replace my HVAC units and ducts in an old home. However, Gilmore's estimator just scribbled some dollar amounts onto a blank yellow paper and allowed me to copy it. Unfortunately, the Gilmore representative declined to document a scope of work, the proposed HVAC unit types, other materials like the ducts, warranties, SEER rating, duration of the work, how many days the proposed dollar amounts would be accepted as a bid, or other details that I would normally expect from an estimate that could be readily compared with competitors' estimates. I was not impressed with his utter failure to communicate and how he wasted my time.
Installed New HVAC System. This was the best Service I have ever had. I personally want to Thank Randy Anderson Comfort Advisor : David and Y the Installers. Mr Anderson is a Professional in every sense of the word and is a invaluable Asset to the Gilmore Business. Ask for Randy if you need an Advisor. Thanks again Randy. David and Y were Super. They are a Great Team. Answered all questions and gave me a detailed descripion of what they were going to do. Before leaving they cleaned and vacuumed the area. Chris was on time, professional and explained what was probably the cause of my low water pressure. He gave me 3 options to remedy the issue and the cost of each. He got my hot water working perfectly and I’m having him come back to repair the cold water issue. He was quick and polite. I’m very pleased!
Mac was very professional and thorough. He answered all my questions with a lot patience and kindness. He took the time to take picture of the furnace in the attic and went over put different options for repair. Highly recommend.
Had scheduled an appointment to have a representative come to our home to evaluate our existing 25 year old HVAC system with hope of getting it replaced. The rep checked our equipment and discussed some options with us and asked if we were ready to sign an agreement to move forward. We told him we were still in the process of soliciting additional proposals and would not yet commit. He took all the paperwork that outlined the options and costs with him and said he would email us the details. He left nothing behind in the way of literature to review or even a business card. We received a call from a different individual about a week later asking again if we were ready to commit. We let him know that we had not received the promised copy of the proposal/equipment cost. We have moved forward with the successful installation of a complete replacement system with another contractor. Seems they're good at advertising but not so much with the follow up. Disappointing! Sorry that I have to rate them with even the one star.
So I actually called Gilmore for service to my great grandfathers house. He is healthy enough but not always extremely sharp. The technician from Gilmore could not have been any more helpful, patient and understanding. He made some simple fixes to the equipment and even called me from the appointment to make sure I knew what was being done and how to help my great grandfather going forward. A 30 minute appointment probably took him 3 hours due to my great grandfathers questions but he still was nothing but sweet and supportive. I can not recommend Gilmore enough!
Mason did an great job replacing our broken bathroom faucet. He is professional and personable, and he went the extra mile for us. I would not hesitate to recommend him! Thank you Gilmore!!
Called Gilmore to check if we had a problem w A/C. Tech was here same day I called. He service tech was friendly, knowledgeable and check the system. He was done in 45 minutes and was very efficient. I’m glad Gilmore is my go to guy for A/C and heating.
Service tech was on-time, respectful, and very professional. He knew his job and it's very obvious that he enjoyed his work. It was also very clear that this business values their employees and treats them well. I will likely always be using Gilmore for my HVAC needs.
Our less than 1 yr new system died. The Nest thermostat said no power to the Nest so it wouldn't kick off. Greg came out and determined power to the ceiling saver switch was lost when the installers cut a hole in the drain pan and didn't insulate a wire that wore through the jagged edge of the hole thereby frying the switch. Greg's ability to troubleshoot and bypass the switch until a new one was ordered in, was swift and accurate. He was professional, on time and able to determine the problem in a short period of time. Excellent service with a great attitude.
