The team was effective and respecrful. Everytime we called they responded immediately. However, they had to return twice to remedy issues after the initial install. Even still I had make modifications to the settings in the attic. Considering the investment I would not expect to have to resort to any DIY. Overall, effective, a departure from excellence.
I discovered the wonders of mini-split air conditioners five years ago and one bedroom and home office were economically comfortable as a result. With our recent (2022) heat wave I checked into adding another mini-split for the master bedroom. I had very specific installation and electrical requirements and Sanborn did not only a first-rate install of the main Mitsubishi unit, but worked with me on every detail to achieve my electrical and HVAC goals. I was very impressed. I recommend them without reservation.
Great and quick service. We purchased the yearly membership to maintain our air conditioning unit. Everyone we have interacted with has been friendly and knowledgeable.
Jarrod was our service guy, he was great! He explained everything clearly and made recommendations. I was happy with his work. There does always seem to be a sales pitch at the end of the service call, which I don’t need, otherwise all is good! But Sanborn’s probably requires the up-sell
Update on 6/2/2020: We had a new issue with our AC. Jarrod had it fixed in 20 minutes. I really appreciate that he came same day and worked on our unit until about 6:15 PM.

First called them during the off-hour and the lady who answered the phone was not patient so I was very disappointed. But Sanborn's reached out to me shortly after that call and explained to me that lady is not Sanborn's employee but just responsible for taking calls during off hours.
Sanborn's has also followed up after the service and apologized again for what happened this morning. Therefore I edited my original review and give them 5 star because that's what they deserve.
We had a total breakdown or our system and after calling 5 companies and Sanborn’s was the only company that was able to send someone out the same day. The person they sent out was Pete he was very personable and we instantly felt at ease, he patiently walked us through the process and took the time to ease any concerns we had, the end result was a system that fit our needs at a very competitive price. We are thrilled to have found this gem of a company and look forward to a long happy relationship with them. The next day, knowing our systems down, they sent Jerrod out to setup some portable AC units to keep us going until we get the new unit. Jerrod was just like Pete very personable and extremely helpful they both made us feel like family, couldn’t be happier with Sanborn’s and the people that work there
Friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Karla is very friendly when calling for reminders and scheduling. Additionally, Tom is a good dude and he knows his stuff. He came by for heating maintenance and was thorough with his communication, polite while I was working and respectful moving between outdoor and indoor service making sure to wear the shoe covers each time he came inside. Thank you.
Jerrod was fantastic! We contacted him on a Sunday evening and he came up the mountain to look at our furnace that wasn’t working in Lake Arrowhead. We had renters staying and he was great to work with, letting us know when he was arriving so that we could relay that to them. His communication was incredible. We also appreciated how knowledgeable he is, he taught us a lot! He was great to work with and we look forward to calling them in the spring time when we add AC to our home. Thank you so much!

He did an excellent job and seemed very thorough. I would gladly recommend him as a tech and Sanborn as a company to everyone I know.
I had an emergency last year and Sanborn's quick response made me think of them this year when all I needed was a regular maintenance on my system. They were able to schedule me when I needed them and they arrived when they said they would. My tech Jerrod was excellent and personable, he explained what he would be checking. He was able to complete his work in an hour and gave me some helpful tips to extend the life of my system and what upgrades I might consider. I highly recommend Sanborn based on my two experiences. Stay local, it's worth it. You want be disappointed.
