Our A/C went bad on a Sunday morning so we called Esser to find the problem and fix the system. The technician arrived promptly and was very nice. Initially, the technician found the fuses needed replacing ($350). A few minutes later he let me know the condenser fan motor needed to be replaced ($1,200). We reluctantly agreed, paid and the A/C was working. Regrettably, I did not check the unit until later in the afternoon and the attached photo was what I found. Yes, that is a few wires coupled by wire nuts, taped together sitting above finished unit. I think after spending $1,500+ the unit should look finished. Not particularly happy about the experience.

Hey, the people are great.
But, I had this problem discovered on Friday (4-21-23). I was present when the Tech talked with the manufacturer and the part was ordered (I Thought). I knew there was a delay due to the parts location (East Coast). However, when I was talking with the office rep on 4-26-23 the part was then ordered, because of payment. Hello, tell us this issue, on the first day. Now, the delay adds 4 more days. Just saying, poor communication. If authorization was needed on the initial day, TELL US. I'm noting this issue so the rest of you guys don't swelter longer than you have to.

I’ve had nothing but great service from Esser. They’ve replace 3 of my aging a/c units with more efficient Trane units. Whenever I’ve had an issue they have come out within a few hours, identified the problem and solved it.
