Atlas Heating and Air Conditioning

As a recently retired realtor, I deal with vendors regularly. Years ago a local home inspector recommended Atlas Heating, and they’ve been on my list ever since. They just came and did some significant work in my own house. The estimator was great as was the guy who actually did the work. Thanks so much!

My 13 year old central heater quit working at the beginning of our cold spell a couple of days before Presidents' Day and my 2 years old grandchild's holiday weekend stay. I called Atlas on Thursday afternoon and Jason (?) was able to schedule a technician to come to my house on next day Friday afternoon.
Chris from Atlas arrived at my house and after a short time, found the problem. Unfortunately for me, some components on the main circuit board were failing and a new board would have to be ordered. Chris was aware that my grandson and family would be arriving later that cold evening. He did his best to keep my heater going, but unfortunately the heater finally quit for good a few hours after he left. On Saturday I contacted Atlas and Chris and confirmed that a new
board was ordered. Chris returned the following Thursday with the new parts and within a few hours I finally had heat in the house.
Although it took a few days to get my heater repaired (no fault of Atlas), I want to thank Atlas for trying their best to help me out on such short notice and on one of their busiest days of the winter. Also, Chris is a most competent and professional technician. He represents Atlas well.

I recently had a problem with my furnace that needed attention, and I also was due for general maintenance on my furnace and AC unit. I called Atlas and they sent out James, who was fantastic. He was able to troubleshoot the furnace problem quickly and effectively, and then came back the following week for the maintenance (I needed special filters that they didn't stock in their truck). James was knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely capable, and I felt that the charges for the maintenance service and repairs were very reasonable. I will not hesitate to call Atlas again for any HVAC need, and I will definitely ask for James.

When I had a request, it was both promptly and enthusiastically completed. Very professional, very concerned with keeping surrounding clean -- I live in an apartment with the unit in my living space. I can't say enough about how happy I am with Atlas. Also, their pricing is very reasonable.

Very professional from the estimator to the installers. They just drove away after installing our new Bryant central furnace and air conditioning system. Mike, Kevin, Joe, Eric and Carlos were great. They showed up when they said they would, tarped down every morning and cleaned up at the end of every day. I'm a retired plumbing contractor and my wife and I were treated the way we expected our customers to be treated and the quality of craftsmanship was excellent.

I have been a customer of Atlas Heating and Air Conditioning Co., Oakland, for over 10 years and could not be more pleased with the service they render. I have my heating and air conditioning service performed every 6 months, and the service has always been prompt, on time, informative, efficient, and effective. My last service, 12/2015, was performed by Paul S., and he was excellent, as have been all of the other technicians who serviced my unit. Paul answered all of my questions in terms that I, as a layperson, could easily understand, explained what he was doing and why, and how I could best use my unit in an effective and efficient manner. Atlas provided us with excellent service and good value for money. I had problems with a furnace for two years and spent way too much money with another company who failed to fix it and did not seem to understand what was wrong. When I got a second opinion from Atlas they immediately saw what the problem was and I only wish I had called them first and saved alot of headache and money. Atlas provided great service throughout the whole job and I highly recommend them.

I've relied upon Atlas for decades. They installed our original AC system and it was time to replace it. The work was done on schedule and to budget. We had the same experience when we replaced our furnace. They are a pleasure to work with.
