Very Honest, Very Fair, Very Excellent Professional Service!!!
Home AC quit working Sunday, I called Kahn Air Conditioning, Northridge, CA. 91324 on Sunday, Yes they are available 24 hours a day. The after hours service calls are kind of expensive but Fair, and this not being an emergency, I decided to wait until Monday, and was told to call back Monday morning to book an appointment. I called Monday morning to make an appointment and was told a service tech would be here between 12 noon and 3 PM. At 9:30 AM I received a call from Kahn Air Conditioning and was told a Tech could be here in about 30 minutes, that's when Super Technician Felix showed up. Felix checked the AC unit outside and found the problem at the compressor unit, a simple Contact Switch had gone bad after 17 years of service. Felix took the time to explain what was wrong and gave us a Very Fair Price for the cost of the repair and replaced the bad part Very Quickly. Felix also checked the other components of the unit for any possible weakness that could possible lead to another soon failure and said everything checked out good. Felix also asked to look at the AC / Furnace unit in the garage to make sure everything is in good working order there also. After Felix finished he took the time to talk to us about the proper use of the Air Conditioning and asked if we had any other questions or concerns.

We just had our semi-annual checkup and as usual the service was prompt, thorough and clean. We have been with Kahn since we put in central air and heat about 16-17 years ago and have never been anything but satisfied with their service.

Very punctual, conscientious and efficient. We appreciate Kahn's service for about 10 years, and in particular this technician's visit for the past 5 years.

They are a very reputable company . Raul was very professional . I would give him an excellent rating . I have used Kahn fir years and will continue ur to do so.

Ronnie is very personable, does a great job and explains everything. We'll request him next time.

I'm guessing the 2 previous endorsers of this company must to be friends or family.
I experienced the nightmare of all nightmares when they came around to service my 2 x heaters and 2 x a/c units, in my house in Tarzana.
All of which were in working condition, and all I wanted was new filters.
WIthin minutes they found major catastrophic problems with 1 x of my heaters, and immediately suggested replacing the unit, since the part was probably very expensive and hard to find.
It turned out to be an inducer motor from a major manufacturer, therefore easy to source.
They then found fault with my a/c unit, this time it was the capacitor,
and although they said they could change it, they suggested I replace the old unit with a new one.
The faulty item according to them was the capacitor,
they said it would be difficult and expensive.
When I asked how much they said the part alone was $ 300-.
I then tried to call the office and speak to the manager, but they were closed, even though it was mid afternoon, I left a message, they never called me back.
I then got the part number of the capacitor a
40/8 uf MFD 440 volt 97F9838
and a quick Google search revealed the cost was $ 16-
and not the $ 300- they quoted me.
While I was researching the part, they had started to dismantle another of my heaters, and when I asked what they were doing, they stated they had shorted out something, and were trying to fix it.
They never did.
I once again tried to call the office, and no reply,
I finally asked them to leave, with none of my units now in working order>
They never called me back, and all they were able to do was generate a bill for me!
As a result, none of my heaters or a/c units now work as they should, and I had to call another company to clear up their mess.
They guys are real sharks!

Very pleased with this company..from Dan to the installers, Jose 1, Jose 2, Patrick and Enrique. On time everyday and were professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend them.
