They did an absolute excellent job. They fixed the probably quickly and efficiently. We had to wait on some electrical work that needed to be done but I'm so grateful that they showed up both times when they said they would and we're reliable, especially in this heat.
Very good at communicating on the front end, day of, and up to the arrival of the technician. Technician was easy to talk to, a good listener, and explained things very well. Fixed the AC issue and gave me overall advice for using my system. Great experience.
This is the 3rd time my home warranty company has assigned my service request to this company and their service has been ridiculously bad each time. Last year it took them 4 months to replace damaged ductwork. This year it took them 8 weeks to allegedly fix my ac by replacing the compressor and the coil. The system has not worked correctly and now it's tripping the circuit breaker AGAIN. That was the symptom the first time. Now the technician was supposed to be here today between noon and 6pm but he finally showed up at 7:45. He determined the compressor was shorting to ground, which means it was wrong when they installed it 2 months ago, and it has to be replaced AGAIN!!!
Highly recommend these guys and specifically Linnell as a service tech. AC stopped working in the middle of July. We were able to get someone to our house in less than a week. Linnell Was the service tech that came out, he called ahead to let us know he was on the way. I made the mistake of leaving the AC running thinking he would need to see it run but in reality it had everything iced up so he patiently waited for it to melt down. (TURN YOUR AC OFF THE DAY OF SERVICE SO THEY CAN WORK) he was quick, very friendly and explained what he was doing and the problems we had clearly. Will definitely use them again.
I made two appointment with South Placer to service my air conditioner and furnace through my home warranty policy. The first appointment was cancelled on the day of the appointment by South Placer who told me that the technician had an emergency and would not be able to make my appointment. The second appointment was scheduled for July 14th between 12 noon and 6pm. No one showed up, called or texted me .I called South Placer at 5:30pm to inquire about the status of my appointment. A recorded message advised me that South Placer was closed as of 4pm.Why would I be given an appointment window from 12 noon to 6pm if South Placer closed at 4pm.? I called South Placer today (7/15) and was told that the technician had been behind schedule and couldn't make my appointment. I waited at my property for over six hours for South Placer to arrive with negative results. I would not recommend South Placer for any HVAC service,, under a home warranty policy, based upon their lack of communications with clients and their inability . to keep scheduled appointments. There appears to be no accountability or supervision for what the technicians at South Placer do or don't do for scheduled appointments. I read the reviews for South Placer and made an disturbing observation. People who made appointments through their home warranty policy experienced poor service, cancellations and multiple reasons why they couldn't receive service. In my opinion, South Placer "cherry picks" (discriminates) who they want to provide service to. PAYING CUSTOMERS. Read the reviews and form your own opinion.
South Placer’s Customer service staff kept in good communication. They arranged service and communicated with me right up to the arrival of the service technician.
The service technician, Gonzo, was professional. meticulous and patient. He thoroughly explained why any parts were needed, and he answered all of my questions and concerns.
My home warranty service set me up with South Placer Heating & Air. To schedule, they called me at 7 am three days in a row, even though I asked them to call after 9. When I told them I changed my mind about doing business with them (if you can't respect my request while we're getting organized, you're unlikely to respect me in my home), & they still billed the home warranty service.
Andres, Service Technician, replaced the capacitor in no time at all. He was professional and answered all my questions satisfactorily . The main office also responded to my first request within an hour to set up this appointment. I had a positive experience. Thank You South Placer for this !
