    Our home warranty company contracted South Placer Heating and Air to repair our ac units and they were scheduled to come out on a Thursday which the technician did but it was pointless as he didn’t have the right equipment to even diagnose the problem. He “guessed” that it was free on and that that’s what he would bring but he didn’t even know for sure. Our second unit was also not functioning and he claimed it was working when in fact it was blowing hot air. I called them and the dispatch center said the soonest they could come out is that Monday (mind you we had a major heatwave) and I expressed how unhappy I was but they did nothing. Monday comes and the technician said he’d be here between 8am and 12pm and never showed. We kept contacting him and he kept telling us he was in his way but when my husband called him back at 3pm he claimed he had an emergency at another address and that they wouldn’t come back until a week later! I contacted my warranty company to cancel service with that company and to find someone else and when my warranty company contacted them, they claimed that we missed our appointment. I advised them that I have cameras and phone records and that I was home waiting all day so not only are they not reliable or professional, they are complete liars. Reading other 1 star reviews I seem to not be the only one with these same/similar issues. It’s hard to believe they have 5 stars when this company is AWFUL.

    I have had numerous interactions with this company and every single one of them was awful. The first time, we had our AC unit go out and so we got our warranty company to dispatch out a company, which ended up being South Placer Heating and Air. The tech that was sent out was awful. He barely looked at the unit or the attic to check anything out. He took one look and said it was an electrical problem not an AC problem and left. No tests were conducted at all. So we ended up getting an electrician out here and they said our electricity to the unit was fine it was the AC unit itself not working. So there was a constant back and forth until we finally gave up and got a local AC tech to come out and fix it. It ended up being a burnt coil within our unit. Fast forward a couple months, we were wanting a basic servicing of our unit. The day they were supposed to show up, they call last minute saying they couldn't come because the technician broke down. They didn't reschedule us for another two weeks. I decided to cancel that service all together. I didn't want to take off another whole day from work just to have our unit serviced. Fast forward to last week, our AC unit died. We needed help ASAP since it is getting to be over 100 degrees outside. We scheduled an appointment to get a tech out here to diagnose the problem. Same thing happened. The same day this company was supposed to come inspect our unit, they called to cancel saying the tech had an emergency and can't come. It is absolutely ridiculous that this company is still in business. I would definitely refrain from using this company.

    Initially there was some confusion between the time frame the dispatcher provided and what the tech was operating on, but the technician eventually showed up and fixed our heater. Would give a 5, but I feel like your tracking for the dispatch needs to get better. Maybe having an option online to track the ETA of the technican would be helpful.

    We used this company through our home warranty. Within the week, we got a call from the dispatch who scheduled us a few days out. When the technician Lorenzo arrived, he was very professional and thorough with the repair. I also work for a service company and it helps to have the model and serial of the appliance you need repaired. The little bit of research and knowledge goes a long way and it really helped out our repair down the road. Needless to say, my ac is working fine, and I'm satisfied with this company's service. Thank you

    Non responsive, unhelpful, terrible service. We made the mistake of replacing out AC unit with them. I recommend you go elsewhere. As soon as they get your money, you are no longer a priority. I've been trying for weeks to get the tech report to give to my home owners insurance and I've been ignored. No call backs, no response. Today I finally get someone, and all I got was attitude. Absolutely terrible way to run a business. Save your sanity and buy from a company that cares about its customers!!!! If 0 stars was an option I'd give it...1 star is too generous.

    They are the worst contractors i have ever dealt with. They are unresponsive and lie about the work they have completed. I have a home warranty and they showed up once and then never answered a call to schedule the appointment to fix the problem. Once the home warranty was able to get in contact with them they missed the appointment to fix the problem and lied saying that they finished the job and would not respond to the home warranty about my complaint. All and all a company that cannot be trusted and is useless.

    My technician came out as a follow up for a/c repair. Even though the leak was unrelated to the original service SPHA didn't charge me anything for the new repair of PVC pipe behind my unit. He also flushed my system of any gunk that may have built up.

    When he was all done I asked about the furnace tune-up I see advertised all over now that we're heading into fall. He said, "You want me to check it? I can go check it, just to be sure you're all good" That's exactly what he did! My furnace came back with a clean bill of health. It set my mind at ease and I'm so grateful that he did that as a courtesy for me.

    My tech was super personable and looked me right in the eye when he spoke with me. He was professional, courteous and went above & beyond to make sure I was happy with the job.

    I highly recommend South Placer Heating and Air!!!
