As a person who works in the service industries, the customer service that I have received was despicable. I have a husband who is handicap. I was fearing for his health and safety. The amount of ill-trained and uncharismatic people who work there, is crazy. As I was just asking them to finish the job, they decided they no longer needed to answer the phones. We had to call another company to come out and finish the job. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THEM. BE CAREFUL ALL!!! IF YOU DECIDE TO DISPUTE THE CHARGES THEY WILL PUT A LEIN ON YOUR HOME .THIS COMPANY IS WORTHLESS PIECE OF .... !
Our technician Josh was very polite and professional. He let us know what he found as he found it, and was very transparent. The company called a couple of times to let us know we were next in line, (as the window of appt was 12-6) they gave us a heads up that tech would be there in about 45mins. Then after that they called again to let us know tech was on his way, and a 3rd time the actual tech called and told us a time frame.. it was nice to be informed when they were going to show up. As most reviews say other wise, that was not my experience at all.
My home warranty sent this compony to my house, they toldM me my mistake was using my warranty and he acted as if he didn't want to do the job. Next they don't show up. Our house was freezing with a broken heater and they did not show up to the fist several appointments. When they did finally show up. They did not call and knocked so quietly on the door no one heard them. Techs do not want to work. Garbage service, stay away from this terrible company

I knew we were in for trouble after reading other reviews. Well it happened to me too. Wait around all day with a 6 hour! Window and then they never showed up after taking day off to wait around for them, and no explanation why or even to tell me they weren’t showing up.
Extremely quick and competent service. Elpidio arrived within scheduled time, diagnosed n repaired problem in less than 30 minutes. He showed me the burned out part n explained the fix and an additional replacement of a capacitor to ensure the problem would not reoccur. Thank you so much.
On Sunday July 10th our air conditioner went out. On Monday morning I contacted our home warranty company American Home Shield (AHS) to have someone come out and look at it, as the weather forecast was for over 100 most of the week. On top of the forecast, I suffer from a heart ailment that can be triggered by getting too hot. South Placer Heating and Air promptly called us to make an appointment, so I felt very hopeful that this situation would be remedied quickly. They couldn't come until Thursday but being worried about my heart they moved it to Wednesday afternoon. Still feeling hopeful when the technician got here, Austin was friendly but seemed to be in a very big hurry. He checked out the air unit and said a capacitor needed to be replaced. About three minutes later he said he was finished and was headed to his truck.
He never gave us a receipt or the old part he replaced. Which we found odd, because every other repair person also gave us a receipt, the old part and waited a bit to make sure everything was okay. A few minutes later we could hear that the unit stopped. We immediately turned it off and called South Placer to let them know it stopped working again. That night the house got very hot, and my heart was really bothering me. I was truly scared that I was going to end up in the hospital. First thing in the morning I contacted AHS, but they couldn’t help me because South Placer hadn’t filed their report yet. I immediately contacted my handyman for help. He came by that evening to see if he could help. He was worried about our safety with the heat. He found no part had been replaced, the original capacitor was still in the until, old and dirt all over it. The kicker was Austin, their repair person had disconnected the fan, so the air conditioner was never going to work. My handyman promptly replaced the capacitor and hooked the fan back up and we were able to cool the house down right away. My question is; was this from incompetence or malice? Since the fan was hooked up and Austin unhooked it on purpose, I say they did this on purpose. I’ve cancelled my contact with AHS as they are only contracted with South Place Heating and Air. This has scam written all over it.
I'm going thru a warranty program. A lot of the issues are not with South Placer Heating and Air but going thru a warranty. Dre has come out several times and has been more than accommodating with answering my questions and explaining the process. I've been dealing with an issue since October 2021. This company is a second opinion. They have replaced some parts and so far the system is working. We will see when it gets really hot. I hope it works and South Placer will step up and help me out to continue to figure out the continued issues. All in all, happy with the company and the rapid responses. Would recommend.
