This company is excellent. Tech called before they came as did the main office. Showed up on time, wore shoe covers, offered to wear mask, were very polite, and diagnosed the problem immediately. I give them a 10 across the board and I rarely do that. Outstanding!! Thank you to Placer Heating and Air.
It all starts with the fact that I'm able to get ahold of my sales rep, Daniel, every time I have an issue that makes me nervous! Daniel is a valuable employee! The scheduling group came through in my last minute request this morning! How amazing is that!!?! Thankfully, a tech was in my neighborhood! Today, Austin showed up on time, was so respectful, knowledgeable, handled the issues with my new system in no time at all... (p s. Installation of new replacement unit for 1992 dinosaur, so can't blame the new equipment- what a relief!! - minor clogged drain pipe and backed up condensation wetness affected the air filter...)... Thank you for being so prompt! Heightened awareness syndrome was quelled because Austin knew exactly what I needed to have done and exactly what I needed to hear! 😃 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Elpidio was on time, actually listened to the issue explanation, then got right to work running his testing. He thoroughly explained the working condition of my rooftop unit.
Home warranty (First American), who never answer their calls and never calls back. Was on hold for 40 min before someone answer. They selected this company to diagnose my AC problem. Technician came to the house was friendly and knew his work. Took bunch of information from attic unit and outside unit and submitted to his company. It took them over a week to submit it to the home warranty. Called this company to schedule next appointment and was on hold for 20 min and some lady answered the call. Lady was reading of the screen that South placer sent me a contract that I have to sign and send back to them. Which I never received and now she was confuse. I will update more once I receive call back from this company. I gave two stars for the tech who came out to check my AC system. So far South Placer Heating & Air has 0 stars........ This company has 0 customer service. Looks like, They have account with home warranty company and that's how they are getting jobs. They were charging me too much money for the broken AC which supposed to be covered by home warranty. I have my new system installed by local AC company at the same price which they were going to replace partial system. It's been almost a month and I'm still receiving their contact email to sign. Never signed their DocuSign......
Update: my prior review gave only one star....however to be fair, the technician did show up, although it was outside of the promised service window. He was very polite & professional AND he fixed my A/C. So their dispatcher provided unrealistic expectations but the actual service & technician met my expectations.
Technician was well within time window quoted. Called and arrived when he said. Jason was able to resolve the issue promptly. Checked the system and did not find any issues. There was no upselling I have seen with other service providers, which I appreciate. I will definitely use their service again.
I made an appointment Wednesday and they said they would show up Saturday between noon and 6:00. No call no show. No one answers the phone at the office but we were blessed to have another company come and get our AC going again. Quick fix family is a lot happier now. If you're in a hurry, please do not use them or you'll be sweating it out!
The technician name was “Lien” and he was so rude and unprofessional who visited my home today. Without even looking into my AC system he started playing with the thermostat and ignored listening what the problem was with my AC. And left my home in 5 minutes. So unprofessional. Whoever is responsible for his hire, is making a very very bad decision. I am so so so so disappointed with South Placer Service. Shame on you.
Austin and Damien (sp?) were amazing today!! They were friendly and professional while proactively providing information on each step of the HVAC replacement process. I'd highly recommend South Placer Heating and Air for HVAC services, especially Austin and Damien😎
