We called Mauzy ( as our heat had been off for 5 days ) they sent Eddie Cruz ASAP. He had expert knowledge and diagnosed our old furnace, gave us the estimates on repair or replace. We decided replacement was best for us. We ask that it be done ASAP , contracts were signed and an expert team was there bright an early next morning. Our old furnace was removed and new one properly installed an we had heat by the afternoon.we are very thankful for Eddie and his team, couldn’t have ask for s better situation

The technician arrived on time, made sure he understood what the problem was - system taking a long time to heat the house to a nominal temperature. He found the problem quickly, cleaned the filter, and explained how we can do this ourselves. He was very polite and did his work very efficiently. We are very satisfied with his service.

Mauzy installed our solar system. They did a great job from estimate to the actual work. They were responsive and finished the work quickly after our roof was done. They took care of the permits and inspections. They cleaned up a piece of metal that they left on the roof too. We highly recommend them.

When I first met with the representative of Mauzy to get a quote everything seemed great. The price and system they offered was very competitive to the other companies and I decided to accept the offer and get the ac installed. After I got the paperwork for the offer emailed to me, it was pulled because it was "miss quoted". Despite being explicit that it was a new ac install from the beginning, the quote was only for a replacement. I decided to give the company the benefit of the doubt and signed a revised contract (at 2k additional cost).

The day of the installation came and the team was very nice, and tidied up after themselves. During the install one of the members pointed out that the drain needed to be hooked up under the sink for the condensation, and since they did not do that they would send someone out to do that later. Again I gave the team the benefit of the doubt and finished up some paperwork on let them on their way. Within 20 min I got a call from the office to go over the final checkout. While talking with the office they informed me that they would not cover the drain being connected to the sink and that their representative had miss spoke. This is despite condensate drain installation being part of the contract. The team claims since it was already there, they do not have to do anything and it is my problem to deal with.

After my experience with Mauzy I would not recommend them to anyone. I am left with a system that was 2k over budget, and I can not even run without water flowing into my house.

Eddie conducted a diagnostic on a/c system. Thermostat and hub is no longer functional. Will return to complete install of newer, better equipment. He presented himself professionally and well informed . Happy to have him conduct the service .

We used Mauzy Heating & Air well over 20 years ago for heating & ac system, in our home. When it was time for a new system, we interviewed several companies and got it down to 2 companies. Although Mauzy was just over two-thousand more, we went with them (again) as we never had any problems...they were very responsive and the heating system/AC was great and they were a family owned business!. We were remodeling our home and had the system installed end of March 2022. We moved back into our house August of 2022 and started to use our system. The AC was working but only intermittently, so we had a tech come out to fix it. It seemed problem was fixed but had to put in another service call several weeks later for AC. About mid to late November 2022, we put in another call but for the heat this time. It seemed the issue was corrected but a few weeks later, same issue occurred again...the system was blowing cool air not warm. We reached out to our sales person, Cody Mauzy and spoke/updated him on what's been happening w/our heat (actually, lack thereof) and he said they would get to the bottom of this issue. The issue seemed to disappear after the technicians would come out, only then to reappear weeks later. The Mauzy Techs troubleshot a myriad of different scenarios but couldn't resolve the issue. They even changed the coils (full day job and another $5300 we paid) because our painter had gotten some paint on the coils while painting our home. Cody was calling us almost daily, with updates (not many businesses today, keep customers up to date daily but Cody did). At this point, Cody suggested a mechanical replacement of the system which seemed logical to us and we whole-heartedly agreed. We also felt that we should be refunded the $5300 we spent because even THAT didn't resolve the issues. Cody spoke with the General Manager (Austin Carroll Keeley) of Mauzy, about the mech replacement and Austin agreed that the system should be replaced (sometimes you get a defective system from a distributor/manufacturer, nobody's fault). Austin also reached out to us to reiterate the system replacement approval and our refund. Austin committed we would be fully refunded as well !! We felt compelled to write this review because of the support & service we received from the technicians and especially our sales rep Cody Mauzy & the GM Austin. Companies today are in business to make money and that's a good thing but not many companies have the honesty and integrity to always do the right thing by their customers. I'm very happy to say that Mauzy did act with both honesty and integrity and they earned us as customers for life! Thanks again Cody & Austin!!
