Moore mechanical tech said the circuit panel is fried, need to replace. The quote was over $1k to fix. Called a different HVAC company for a second opinion, they charged me $145 and said someone else had turned the internal switch to the heater in the off position, which is why it would not turn on.
Moore mechanical is a Scam!!!

After discovering that the gas valve he just installed didn’t solve our heating issue, Ulises did a good job of determining and communicating what was the real problem. He apologized for the misdiagnosis made by a co-worker, let us know that we wouldn’t have to pay for the valve and said that he would have to return with the correct part. It was the circuit board that failed. The Moore team worked diligently to resolve the problem and came out the next day to complete the job.

We have old wall heaters that most current mechanics didn't encounter in their training.
Ulisis took his time to figure out the problem and make sure the defensive part was ordered.
Taking almost a month for the part to arrive, was not his fault.
Neither was the issue that the manufacturer had updated the original part, so it didn't quite fit.
I'm impressed that I didn't hear him utter a single bad word while trying to match this old heater to current technology.
I'm a nechanic at heart and a MA in mechanical engineering, I wholeheartedly recommend any company that employ guys like Ulises

Jesse was great! He was professional, explained everything before starting, and reviewed everything he found with me and the steps to fix the leak. Very happy with the service and price, and would use them again if needed, but he told me it should not leak again!

Called Moore on Labor Day because we had an unknown leak near our furnace in our garage. On Tuesday, they sent Keith Foster out who took care of our issue. I appreciated all the notifications Moore sent out on his arrival. He was professional, attentive, and informative. We will definitely call Moore in the future if we need their service!

Your installation crew of Luis and Francisco were excellent at their jobs - courteous, professional, efficient and absolutely punctual! This us the best contractor crew by far that we have ever had!
