Best in the business! Cade was very friendly professional and knows his stuff!! Fixed my mini split and couldn’t be happier!! Call armor and ask for cade! God bless!!
Came home from 4th of July fireworks to our AC not working. The fan was working, but the AC unit was completely off and not cooling. We called Armor at 7:40am and we had Jose at our door by 8:30am. This was on a Tuesday morning after a holiday weekend!? We were expecting a massive heat wave in NWA, 100 degree temps. And, we have a large wine cellar which could NOT get warm so time was of the essence.
He came, immediately found it to be the capacitor, and replaced it in a matter of minutes. Jose was professional, simple and just plain nice. He explained the problem and fixed it in record time. Cost was around $200 and worth every single penny. We will keep Armor in mind if we have any needs in the future.
I chose this business because of all the good reviews, but apparently not all interactions with this company are the same. My AC fan motor went out and so I called Armor to come out and look at it. It is an older unit, and the guy said he could get it going again, but that he suggested a new fan motor. He quoted me over $800, which was a bit of a shock, but I assumed this must be an expensive part, or take several hours to change out. They were busy, so I spent 4 days without AC and was glad when the tech showed up. He was a few minutes late, (just after 8:00 am) and had the AC unit fixed in less than 20 min and even cleaned the condenser unit fins for another $70.00 (+ the $70 I paid for the first visit). All this sounds good except when I asked why it was so expensive, and he gave me a run around on the part being expensive. I did a little google search, and found the part fairly easy. I called and emailed the business owner several times to get a better understanding, and shared with them the identical motor online for $225.00. I asked for an itemized bill and they did not provide and again gave me a run around and excuses, saying they have the best technicians and pay good benefits. I was disappointed they didn't ever offer any kind of discount seeings that I sent them the link of the less expensive part. But folks any company that charges $1000/hr is hiding something, or doesn't have a good relationship with suppliers. I doubt they are passing the profit from my 20 minute fan motor replacement along to the technician that put it in. If I can find the identical part using google and it is a third of the price then somethings wrong. I won't be using them for any work in the future, and if enough people see this maybe companies that operate like this won't see as many customers. Shame on you Armor Heating & Air LLC. You won't be getting anymore of my business and if friends ask for a recommended HVAC repair company I will steer them away from you.

Quick service, Technician was professional and explained clearly what he found.

The motor that was installed does not conform with the correct RPM does gives less air that is why the unit ices up and stops blowing cold air.
