Sam Cobb was an excellent technician. Very professional and knowledgeable. We would highly recommend their service. We even signed a yearly service contract which actually saves us lots of money!

Justin Fox was our tech was a nice guy diagnosed the problem gave a solution Awaiting a part to be ready. Okay changing my review after a week or two. Never got a call or email from the company with the next step. So called they had Justin give us a call back. Said it would be 800 for the used compressor they were pulling from another unit and labor on a PTAC unit to put in. Or 1500 for a new PTAC unit…. he’d be able to get it in in two weeks. Take in mind when they were at my house I was told because I specifically asked the question would it be cheaper to just get a new unit or pay to have the compressor replaced he said it’s save you about 1200 dollars. This of course would imply the part and work would be somewhere around 300 not 800. Not a good experience would have been better off going with somewhere else. Instead of wasting 100 something dollars after taxes. To be told well it’s 800 or get a new one for a little more seemed like the company just wasn’t interested in messing with the PTAC. Normally wouldn’t leave a review but that’s a bad experience in a bad economy which is more of sting right now finically

Firstly he was late then he left for an hour and came back with another plumber. I didn’t know I would have to pay both plumbers they never said anything never even asked to see if I could afford it. I found out when the bill came.When I complained about the bill,the technician said I could call the office and they could lower it but the person in the office said the technician could lower it.They don’t mind lying and ripping off women.Will never use them again.

I was very impressed with the service. I received both emails and text messages confirming the appointment, and when the technician was on the way. They showed up on time, when they said they would. The service technicians were very professional, and were able to take care of our needs with no issue. Overall, we had an excellent experience and we will definitely use Bert Black Service Companies again.

Since making my service appt, I received several very helpful automatic notifications via text. Ex. confirming my service request, reminder a couple of days in advance of my appt and the morning of AND I was really impressed when I received a notification informing me of which technician would be coming out to evaluate my HVAC with HIS photo! The technician was very professional, courteous and helpful. After writing up and paying, he sent a digital receipt with the notes from the service call to my email address. Definitely WILL use again.
