We needed a new HVAC system and we went with Family Air because Jim, the owner went above and beyond in his efforts to figure out exactly what we needed for our home. The installation was absolutely thorough from the start to finish and they stand by their work. All of their technicians that came to our house were extremely nice, especially the lead installer, James, who was so patient and thorough. Another plus is how easy they are to contact by either phone or email. Very satisfied with Family Air.

Hired Family Air to work on a rental I own. They were quick to respond and did a great job fixing the problem. The reason for my poor review is that they added $200 worth of Freon to my system without getting prior approval for the expense, it wasn't on the original quote. They also charged a $95 service call when they went out to identify the problem. I've never had a company charge for the service call unless I didn't hire them to do the repair work. Family Air charge the service call even though I had them perform the repair work.

I contacted Family Air to get a quote on a mini split that I needed for a home sale. I also did not want to spend an arm and a leg. Upon calling, I spoke to a very pleasant young woman who answered. I told her of the issue I had. She told me that she would pass the message on to sales and someone would get back to me. I received a call very quickly from the owner. I explained the situation and how I needed to get a quote and possibly a quick install.The owner told me that you would be willing to meet with me that same day. I should also explain that it was a Saturday when I called.

Sure enough about an hours or so, you showed up and looked at the possible project. The owner took their time and understood what I needed to get done. Later that day I received an email from family air for the quote. The quote was a great deal and worth the option of going with Family Air. I contacted the company and asked when I could get the install done. I was told that the install team would be in by Friday.

On Friday morning three installers came to my house, greeted me and began to setup for the install. Each employee was very respectful and were prepared to work. I still had to go to work myself, so my neighbor took my dog to his house and was around to help or answer questions if needed. A few hours later, 2-3 if I remember so, I was contact by neighbor and I was told that the install was complete and everything was working perfect. I was also told that the some of dry wall had to be cut and was to be repaired later. Unfortunately time was not on my side and I needed to make sure the dry wall was repaired for a pending appraisal. I contacted family air and asked when the repair would be done. I was told that she would forward the message to the install manager. About a half an hour later the owner showed up at my house rang the doorbell and told me that you were there to do the repair. I was not just shocked by in wounder that the owner of a company, would be there that fast to rectify an issues knowing that I had a small timeline.

After I was done with work, I returned to my home and looked at the install. Other than the paint, no one would ever see that there was an install done or even damage to the wall.

Family Air is great and honest HVAC installer. More than that they operate as a very kind company.

We needed a new air conditioner/heater for our home. We met with half a dozen different companies. Family Air was a company that a close friend recommended. When we met with Jim, he was very interested in understanding our concerns and spent the time discussing the possible solutions. He was not interested in just selling us a new system but we wanted to make things better for us. He provided a very reasonable quote and included the items we needed to solve our problems.

The installation was painless and the crew was very polite. Family Air also participates in TEPs rebate program. For a minimal cost, we had a technician come and analyze our old an new system. With that information, we qualified for a very significant rebate on the cost of our system. We were very pleased by that service.

We will recommend Family Air.

I called Family Air to inspect our 19 year old HVAC system. It works but not so great in the heat of the summer. I wanted a thorough inspection and some honest recommendations. That's what I got from Greg our service tech. Very pleased with the visit and well worth the $95 service call. This review is for the service call only. I have asked for a quote for unit replacement so I will update the review once we receive that info and if we move forward, a review of the installation.

I used Facebook messenger to contact this company and they got back to me within an hour. Appointment was scheduled for 3:30pm but Greg called me today and said he was able to stop by a couple hours earlier if I wanted, which worked out perfectly. He worked non-stop until he was sure the problem was fixed and he did a full inspection on everything to make sure my AC was functioning properly. The cost for labor was very fair, far lower than what I had expected. He was very friendly, extremely knowledgeable and even taught me quite a bit about how the system is supposed to work. While I doubt any issues will arise in the near future, if one pops up he will be my first call. He's very experienced and definitely knows what he's doing. If your AC breaks and Greg shows up, you can rest assured that you'll be in good hands. Thank you Family Air/Greg for taking care of me, you will have my continued business from now on!

This is the third time we have used Family Air, this time to do a major replacement of our old inefficient furnace and AC unit. The experience from estimate to install and operation was flawless. They worked around our schedule, showed up on time, and completed the installation in about a half day, as promised. Everyone we dealt with was professional, courteous and competent. Family Air=customer service. AC died on holiday weekend. A representative was available to schedule next day service. Technicians are knowledgeable, professional and care about the customer. I have been a very satisfied customer for about two years now, and recommend Family Air to everyone. Recently my 83 year old mother had her AC unit checked out by her regular service company. Less than a week later, her AC died. Temps at 104 to 108 and she was told that she'd have to wait approximately 4 days before they would come out! I gave her Family Air's number and they came the next day!!! Not only did the technician take time to fix the problem correctly but made sure that the unit was in over all good order (it's a very old unit). Thank you, Family Air, thank you!!!!

They care about doing the right job and doing it well. The owner is happy to help diagnose the issue over the phone. I tried a few things to fix my AC which narrowed down the problem so it was nice that we were able to work through the options over the phone without the need for a service call. A few hours later and the crew was at my house installing the new condenser unit. The crew was very knowledgeable and found several mistakes that the previous installer made. They fixed all of those issues without increasing the price. Overall I am very happy with the service they provided and I highly recommend them.
