They are unethical and do not warranty their work nor parts installed. They replaced our A/C compressor in 2019 with a ‘new’ compressor for @$4000.00 yet this summer (2021) they insisted we needed another new compressor for an additional $3500.00. A compressor usually lasts at least 12 to 15 years. When asked about their warranty and guarantee the company made us wait over two weeks of 100 degree weather before the owner and office manager called us back to say there was no warranty or guarantee. This company is unethical and incompetent. Avoid at all cost!

We were very hopeful when we contacted Family Air to come replace our AC unit. We saw they had excellent reviews online and seemed impressive on a surface level. However, we've been really disappointed with the work that was done. They have had to come out 6 times within one week because the AC hasn't been working quite right.

They had to come out 3 days in a row because they continued to have problems with the installation. Once it finally got installed, the air conditioning worked for 3 days and then randomly stopped working and started blowing hot air. Long story short, the installation wasn't done exactly right. When the technician came out to see what the problem was, something in our brand new compressor had broke and needed repair. Also some of the wiring wasn't properly hooked up. He also noticed that the previous install guys didn't install a proper filter or cover to go over the air handlers unit.

While installing the unit on the first day they had to use a blow torch and it ended up basically exploding which put a big burn mark in our carpet. We are completely understanding of the fact that it wasn't their fault that the torch exploded. What we were disappointed with was that they didn't tell us about the burn in the carpet. They had laid protective plastic over our carpet and when the torch exploded, it burned through the plastic onto our carpet. They had to have seen this mark while cleaning up the plastic at the end of the day. We brought it to their attention when they came out the next day. They were very apologetic and used some solutions to try and fix the issue. It looks somewhat better but we still have a burn mark in the middle of our carpet. We would've appreciated honesty from the very start.

All of the people we've worked with have been very accommodating and extremely nice, so for that I give two stars. But other than that, we haven't been impressed with the quality of work. It also makes us nervous that we spent over $5000 on a brand new AC unit and it has already had so many issues within 7 days.

On our annual tune-up, Family Air again showed the professionalism we first saw when they installed our heating and cooling system. Not only did we get the promised, no-charge (and thorough) tune up, but I learned some new things about our home duct system I hadn't known in 16 years. They were/are great!

I called Family Air after receiving a very high quote for my work and a lot of communication issues from my regular AC repair company. Family Air gave me reasonable bid and completed the job without hassle. There were a couple small issues with the thermostat and they were out the same day to fix it. I'm happy.

Family Air diagnosed my HVAC . There labor for replacing coils was the lowest cost from 2 other local competitors. They serviced my Rheem unit and took care of the warranty on parts for me. They also matched the refrigerant to the competitors. Friendly and great service . Took a little longer to finish job than I expected but they had a problem getting the part.
Will use and recommend them .

We had Family Air replace one of our units that failed in 2015. When the second unit failed last week we didn't hesitate to call them again. They provided the same prompt response, fair price and very professional and courteous installers. If there was a 6 star rating they'd get it from us!

Family Air is by far one of the best air conditioning companies my family has used. They are honest,caring and wonderful people you could ever meet. My family will never go to anybody else as long they are in business. Give Family Air a call you will not be disappointed.

I have used Family Air many times and they always come through. I recently had a part go bad on my ac and their technician Greg worked late into the evening to make sure my system was repaired and working the way it should be before he left. He went above and beyond to make sure my family could sleep in a cool home. I know it is a very busy time for HVAC companies and I appreciate everything you do.
