Ever since I bought my home, my biggest fear was my heat pump going out. Family Air promptly ended those fears. From the first call and technician showing up at my house, I felt like I had made the right decision by calling them. They were there the next day and unfortunately I needed a new unit. It was ordered installed, including the crane, within several days. The entire staff at Family Air were professional and great to deal with. After reading many reviews on Yelp for various companies, big and small, I decided Family air would be my best bet. I have a 19 year old unit that in all honesty has not been well maintained over the years. As it has gotten older it has had trouble keeping up in ther hot/ humid summer months.
The Family Air technician looked things over, found the unit was low on freon, added a couple pounds and gave me the option to add a dye to help detect a leak if there is one. I was surprised that the dye was more expensive than the freon, but figured it would be worth it if it helps keep this old unit working a little longer.
I've read about and heard so many stories of companies immediately claiming older units can't or shouldn't be fixed and trying to push a new unit on people and was so grateful Family Air didn't do that! I know my days are numbered with this unit and when it finally does give out on me, Family Air will be doing the replacement! Until then I know I can count on them to help me keep this thing running as long as possible.

I met the Company thru a visit to my former employer. IHaving been in construction for many years, I felt confident that they were committed to excellence and not ripping people off.

While on a trip to visit my Grandson out of state, my rental property and tenant experienced a failure of the air conditioning and needed immediate attention for my tenant. Not only were they there within a few hours, but the work was completed professionally and was a very fair price. I was able to pay remotely.

Most recently, my personal residence - air just stopped. They were quick to respond and provided me with a portable unit to get thru the rest of the day and that evening.

Every tech that came to my home was responsible and respectful and knew exactly what they were doing.

So grateful for all of the "family" at Family Air!

I have and will continue to refer them from my experience. Dont be fooled by companies that air ads on TV that we all get tired of, that marketing budget comes out of your pockets in services rendered.

I contacted Family Air and 2 other companies for bids on a complete replacement of my 20 year old HVAC system. The owner of Family Air, Jim Beard came out and after looking at the old system, his proposal was not only the low bid, but he had several innovative ideas that would make the new system more efficient and effective. Jim and his two workers spent a long day removing & replacing almost everything, including old ducting that was not sealed properly. By the end of the 1st day, the new combined heating & A/C unit was hooked up, and we had heat that night. At one point, there were 5 guys (including the crane operator) working under, inside/outside, and on top of the house. When the job was wrapped up on the 2nd day, to say that I was favorably impressed would be an understatement. Family Air has earned my business, and I highly recommend them.

The Family Air install team was knowledgeable and supportive in the install of a replacement split system in a 70 year old structure. Equipment placement was critical to code compliance and they were flexible in meeting two placement requirements while meeting all the other "best practices" required for a job of this type. They were responsive to schedule needs , on time , and left a well thought out and clean final product. Pricing was reasonable and competitive.

Jonathan Estorga, Family Air Conditioning, did an outstanding job explaining what was needed in our new air conditioning unit. He described with easy to understand terms how the American Standard unit would be ideal for our house.
The team of five who came to install the new unit on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, were friendly, professional and did an excellent job of installation.
I highly recommend Family Air Conditioning.

I have developed a trust on Family Air just because of my experience with the owner. I think they are one of the best service oriented companies in Tucson. Having said that my last service call was a tad pricey. 52 dollars for some sealer material sounded a bit too much. Still...ended up with 150 dollar service tab and the issue was not really resolved. Very disappointed, it seems that their worker s have a different standard when the boss is not looking

AC unit in my house was built in '96. Freon is cost prohibitive even with a home warranty. AC unit would cool sometimes to 80 if it was also cool outside. I asked for quotes from 5 places. Jim Beard got back to me within 15 mins and worked out all the details with my wife and I for a new AC & Furnace via email and phone (including walking me through financing). It was literally the easiest & best experience doing a large home improvement. Booked us for Friday. Guys show up, Greg, Michael and Steve, all consummate professionals and found solutions for the various stupid design decisions in my house & attic. If I could give you more stars, I would. I'm going to sleep well tonight for the first time since last Sunday and I have Family Air to thank. Will call FA next time I have an HVAC issue, period.
