    BEWARE!!!!!!!!!
DO NOT and I mean DO NOT go with this company at all. I had no choice since our contractor for our home used them for our AC unit and I did not know at the time how bad this company is. We bought our home in 2017 and I've had nothing but problems with the AC unit. Now here I am in 2020 with the same problem that I had within a year after purchasing the home. They charged me $85 for a technician who came to my home to check the issue, spent 10min and instantly pin pointed the issue. Then says, "I don't know if this problem will fix the other issues that might come up." Are you kidding me? Why da hell did I pay $85 for a diagnostic. Aren't they supposed to tell the customers all issues wrong instead of having us gamble on having to spend more money. Don't purchase your home with DR. Horton if they will use this company, go somewhere else.

Chas Roberts installed the HVAC system in my new home before I moved in. There has been nothing but problems over the last year, and the system is terribly inefficient. There were several leaks in the condensate lines that required two separate work orders to finally figure out, the AC unit outside uses differring metals for the hoses so they are corroding within the first year, the condensate pipe is crushed ~50% and they repair guy said that he "fixed" it and that it no longer needed replacement when it is clearly more damaged, the ducting is leaking 70% of my AC airflow into the attic according to my home inspector, and the automatic dampers are not functioning properly. Additionally, they damaged and/or removed my bathroom exhaust fan dampers when they were supposedly "fixing" them, which has resulted in further inefficiencies in my system

Throughout the few visits I have had from Chas Roberts repairmen, they have damaged paint, ignored issues as "within spec", and caused more problems. Additionally, they have lied to me about their warranty repairs several times, and I get different answers to how to properly fix things depending on the service tech who comes out. One will say the whole condensate pipe needs to be replaced, and the next will say it's fixed and no longer needs replacement.

I had Chas Roberts install two A/C units on my house. I had a single local guy come out to service them for the upcoming season and couldn’t do so because Chas Roberts put a lock (which they only have the key) where you put the gauges to check the coolant level. They do this so you can’t use anyone else to service your unit except them. I called them up and said they wouldn’t come out to unlock it. The new service guy needs to buy a key. The receptionist was extremely rude and refused to let me talk to a manager. I will never use them again, and I hope this helps others to stay clear as well.

so update, my parents spent nearly 5,000 on the repair to their ac. freon leaked out completely within a few days, they came out and fixed it, 3 days later leaked completely out again, and tech said it would be 1,500, why wouldn't the tech not find this leak the first time the checked for leaks its all in the same area, then no one put them down to come back out to recheck and refill freon. Not a very good experience!!! You werent the cheapest in town but recommended and your company installed them originally. Would expect something better...

If you need someone to come make your ac worse and then tell you to schedule another appointment, these are your guys. Every tech is 19 years old and has no idea what they are doing.

Just wrapped up a late service call in Tucson AZ. Oscar A. was the tech onsite and he had incredible customer service and shocked me with his professionalism and knowledge of my HVAC system. Very clean during repair. Wore shoe covers in house. Answered all my questions and truly went above and beyond my expectations. Even though it was a late night service call, he did not rush through and I felt like he was doing a very thorough job. Repair seems to be working so far and house is cooling down. :)

I have had two other contractors look at my unit for the same issue and just refill the freon and rush out the door. Oscar from Chas Roberts took the time to ensure he found the freon leak and made a proper repair. Ultimately Oscar's customer service made me feel comfortable with Chas Roberts doing more work on my home. I have a 20 year career in customer service, and this experience was top notch!!

Chas Roberts does absolutely terrible work. In my neighborhood the builder used them for all the installations and almost everyone has had problems. The ducting falls and get kinked and the units leak - but, I'm sure they're the cheapest because that's why the builder uses them. Classic case of getting what you pay for.

Then, when you try to schedule a repair, they're booked 10 days out "because they're having to deal with so many breakdowns." Well, maybe if they did quality work they wouldn't have so many customers with problems!

The night before last Christmas Eve a family down the street from us, also living in a brand new house with a brand new furnace (less than 1 year old), didn't have any heat and they were told that they would have to spend Christmas without heat because Chas Roberts couldn't get someone out with the part to fix their unit until after Christmas. Yes, in a neighborhood full of homes under construction, all of which have the same exact heating unit in them... they were going to force a family with two little girls to have Christmas without heat. Fortunately, some neighbors decided that was unacceptable and went into a house that was being built to take the part and fix the family's furnace. Once the new part was installed... it still didn't work. So the neighbors looked around a little more, who have zero experience or training in HVAC, and found a grounding wire that was loose... and when they tightened that back up, the family had heat.

Yes, Chas Roberts was going to force a family to spend Christmas without heat because their technician didn't check the grounding wire.

I will never, ever hire this company... and I will actively recommend people NOT use them every chance I get. 1 star is too generous.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Purchased a brand new Pulte home that closed 3/2018 with an ac unit installed by Chas Roberts. Hired an inspector prior to taking keys who noted dual ac unit was blowing warm air. Chas Roberts comes out to “fix” by adding freon. This cycle continues for 2 years with at least half a dozen service calls to address warm air. Finally, they replaced a defective coil late last summer. Fast forward to yesterday when I turn on the ac for the first time this year, and low and behold the ac is blowing warm air. Basically we purchased a half million dollar house and the ac has never worked. I inspected the duct work in the attic and was appalled by the shoddy workmanship. Panels of duct work not screwed and/or siliconed together. They literally taped the joints together with no other structural or mechanical reinforcement. Air blowing everywhere out Of the taped seams. Several days off from work to meet technicians.

So I call Pulte again today who informs me their warranty expired last month and I need to call Chas Roberts which I do. The customer service rep tells me they have no record of ever doing work or servicing my address, thus cannot comment if I have an extended warranty. They want to charge $85 just to send somebody out. I am glad I have kept detailed records and pictures of this nightmare. Pulte has also provided me with their records. It looks like this battle will have to be fought in court unless Chas Roberts does the right thing. I will revise this review if the ac is fixed at no cost by CR and have no other problems moving forward. I literally never leave reviews unless they are positive so take that for what it’s worth.

Rueben was awesome. He is an excellent communicator and explained everything without pressuring us for upsells. Very professional and positive experience.

All technicians should wear booties, dirt etc on ladder and floor

Technicians should test filter on ladder not drop on floor spreading dust from impact

Technician was kind and wanting to provide excellent work
