Scottsdale Air has excellent office help and expert field technicians. Our tech (we always ask for Scott) diagnoses the issues with our units... carefully informs us of his findings and what the 'fix' is... and takes care of the problem or maintenance. Having Scott come by is like having a visit from a good friend a couple of times a year. We love this company and would give them an even higher rating if it were offered.

UPDATE:8/20/2020 William came today,114 degrees out. He replace the bad condenser fan and installed a new starter as well. They applied the service charge from the day prior. Great service,very very fair price, terrific work in extreme temperatures by both tech's. I highly recommend this company for great service, fair prices , and QUALITY people and service.

Thank you Scott for surviving 115 degree heat to fix moms ac unit. I know its a temp fix until the new motor comes tommorow . Always professional service from Scottsdale Air.

Update: 07.05.2019 my old ac unit had a part go bad last night. We were all in the pool and did not notice it until morning. I called Scottsdale Air and Justin W. came out. He did a great job,he diagnosed the problem quickly, had parts readily available in his van and left no mess. He explained my options on the repair and we chose the path best for us. I will need a new unit soon and it will be this company that makes it happen. Thank you Justin and scottsdale Air

Scottsdale air has been doing my hvac work since 1995. They do great work and their prices are fair and reasonable. They have replaced two units on my mom's home and do the service on my home. There techs have always gone out of their way to make sure the job gets done right the first time. Last summer we had a 911.... No ac. I thought the worst and it turned out to be a circuit board. I have an older unit and the service man Scott took the time to find a replacement rather than up sell me. Three words HONEST,TRUSTWORTHY and ,DEPENDABLE. That's what we all want, right? Well that's what you will find when you call Scottsdale Air. Thank you Mike.

Long story short – our master bedroom was a previous owner addition, in order to get it cool or warm enough we had to be too hot or too cold in the main part of the house.

Saw a Mitsubishi ductless unit at Home depot thought that this might be a good option... had the HD guy come and give us an estimate.. Was not impressed at all, Went to the Mitsubishi website found Scottsdale Air listed as a diamond dealer,

Steve came out, he was friendly and helpful and his price was $500.00 less then Home Depot. Tech Bob did the install a few days later- Obviously not the first time he has done this.

It’s be a few months since it’s been installed and we are seeing about a $50.00 a month energy saving in the summer time and we are very comfortable in our master bedroom for the first time - True professionals all the way.

When my AC went out I panicked. First, we called our home warranty people. AC worked for less than a day. In the middle of the summer I couldnt waste anymore time with the warranty people. I asked around and a friend gave me a contact at Scottsdale Air. Russ Byrum. Russ came by the same afternoon and climbed into my sweltering crawl space. He cleaned out a clogged pipe from my drip pan under my air handlers. He showed me the mud and sludge the warranty guy failed to clean. He also told me that unfortunately the fix would last awhile but that my units were old. They were. Most of my neighbors recently had to replace theirs. I made the decision to replace both of my ac units and Russ was helpful and very knowledgeable about the products that were available to me. I did my price comparisons and Scottsdale Air was fairly priced. Russ wasn't pushy - rather very patient and answered all my questions (I had a lot as this was a big purchase). The install was about a week later and went seamlessly. Russ followed up to make sure I was pleased with the service. I had questions about my new thermostats about a week later and again, Russ was helpful and patient.

These folks are the best. They replaced the original A/C system in our house but not before they did a complete assessment of the insulation and original installation. There were gaps in the attic insulation. They took care of it. There was just a single inlet for the original system that meant it made a LOT of noise. They ran a second inlet and now it's quiet as a mouse. The original duct work was too narrow. They replaced it. We now have a dual speed compressor (more efficient) AND 4(!) wireless thermostats so the bedroom can stay nice and cool at night but we can leave the other 3 zones off. Saves money! Since the installation about 5 years ago, they've taken are of annual maintenance in the most professional manner. A+ for Scottsdale Air!

We recently purchased our first home in August 2016. After running the AC all summer and having it work great, we were surprised when the heat didn't work - especially after our house had just passed with flying colors through two inspections prior to closing. Scottsdale Air came out to diagnose the situation. They found that the gas valve at the unit had been switched off but that was not all they included in their write up. They basically told us that the entire duct system was incorrect and needed to be replaced. They told us that the system was unsafe to operate until the repairs were made as it was a fire hazard. They wanted to send someone out to quote us for a massive repair.

Naturally, we called our realtor, home warranty company and the company that conducted both inspections. The home warranty company provided a full diagnosis of our unit and duct system and had complete opposite findings - we needed to replace filters and turn on the gas valve. Everything else was running extremely well and properly - including the duct system. The inspection company looked back at their notes and stated the exact same findings with regards to the heating and cooling unit. They ended their email to us with this:

"Scottsdale Air’s writeup about problems with the heating and cooling system are false and an attempt to sell a new duct installation to the homeowner. The Scottsdale Air writeup stating: “Furnace is not safe to operate until all issues are resolved” is irresponsible."

My husband and I are appalled at the disgusting attempt to sell a new duct installation to someone who does not need a replacement whatsoever. If you are looking for a company that is going to give you honest reports and conduct their work with moral integrity... Scottsdale Air is NOT the company you want to work with.

We had a great experience with Russ at Scottsdale Air. Fair pricing and everything was done as quoted, from installation, to clean up & follow up. Really appreciate someone who does what they say they're going to. Would recommend anyone who is looking for a new a/c unit to contact Russ...you won't regret it!

Eric did a fine job explaining what needed to be done to repair our AC unit. He did the job quickly and neatly with no issues. He was pleasant and courteous and arrived ahead of schedule which was a plus for us. I would definitely recommend this company.
