Scottsdale Air Heating & Cooling

We had a tricky issue with water leaking from our air conditioning due to it being installed by a subpar company that was not Scottsdale Air. The technicians that came to due the repairs were on time, friendly and knowledgable. Explained exactly what they were doing and why. Pricing also seemed fair based on work completed. I plan to use again for tune ups in the future.

Ever since they bought out the company that I bought my AC with the serviced it under warranty and always treated me like I bought it from them. The warranty ran out in 2013 I've continued to use them. They aren't the cheapest, but they will go the extra mile if there's an issue and not overcharge you then. I'd much rather have my company be the best instead of the cheapest, especially AC in Phoenix.

The only thing that saved this from being a 1 star review is the kindness and friendliness of the technicians themselves and the owner himself showing up to the first problem. To begin Russ - one of the salesmen - came to my home and measured for the installation of my new Unit. I was extremely explicit with the fact that i had concerns about the size of the unit going in and the space available. He assured me it would not be an issue. The day of the install comes and the installers also show some concern.. they called out Russ to work with them(who never approached me with the issue when i was there the entire time) and they shoved the thing in.. bent to hell.. the techs did a good job of mostly unbending it and getting into place.. but the box that holds the A-frame chiller was still leaking like sieve. Russ and the Owner, Mike, showed up to investigate after i told Russ i wasn't happy. Mike agreed it wasn't right, there solution was to put in a smaller less efficient coil(not exactly to my liking as i would have rather put in a completely different unit at that point).. the smaller coil meant i'd lose my power company rebate for SEER rating.. they did covered the rebate loss of out pocket. However, when i got the final invoice they have over charged me. Upon showing them they agreed to refund the difference but the entire process was not my best experience.

This is the best home contractor/repair company I’ve ever had. From start with a very patient and knowledgeable salesman, Steve, to the fabulous 5 man crew, the experience was so pleasant. If you need HVAC help for a remodel or new system, you need to call this company. They will customize it for you, not just sell you what they want to. And the crew is polite, wants to help YOU, all are cross trained and they work as a real team, cleanup is top notch.

I had APS come out today to verify our rebate offer. APS stated that Eddie's install was "perfect" and that "no corners were cut." He also went on to say that Eddie's install was the best that he has ever seen. I really want Eddie (and his coworker) to receive their due credit. They were very professional and did their job very well. Please give them a raise! They deserve it!!

A competitor came out to troubleshoot my A/C twice last year. Each time they found things for me to buy, but never fixed the issue. Scottsdale air found the root cause in 5 minutes. And the repair was quick and cheaper than the other company. Highly recommend.

Johnathon from Scottsdale Air did our spring service and was on time, respectful, friendly and very helpful. He helped me set up our I-phone to control our I-Comfort thermostats when away from home.
